• but pulling back on the insanity that is the current arms race between encounter designers and players that solve their mechanics with WAs is a very good thing for everyone

no, gally specifically sucked because he kept moving to the off-tank after taunting some times and other times he insta turns around upon target swapping. and it's arbitrary which one happens, so you're forced to move gally in dumb positions at times. At the same time, you have a taunt swap very close to add spawns, so you cant taunt adds in case off-tank or dps outpump your threat generation. It wasn't well designed in that sense, that is all..
