||Uhhhhhhh...yeah...i think it was heart break and touching for me....the levia was with traveller... but it died during warp or due to anomaly glitch.....so levia...kept searching for the owner travelling entity... encountering other travellers in process...and....ummm...accidently killing them....and since the travelling entity and its minds were linked it started a loop...until the memories were restored||

You get to the last anchor but your memory is stubbornly challenging to get at, so you go to space and pulse. Pulsing sends you to a derelict freighter that you explore, and it turns out that it's been destroyed by a "leviathan incident." Completing that gets you plans for the whalesong flute. When you build that and use it, it summons the leviathan. You talk to the leviathan who tells you that the loop began with you killing it. It says the loop needs to end with it killing you. You submit. You die. The save closes. You have a small heart attack. You reopen the save and find yourself on a new planet, and the loop is broken.

The currency you use to buy blueprints is salvaged frigate modules, and those can be acquired different ways. The best one right now is re-running a particular derelict freighter and speed looting the blue chests. Frigate missions have a decent chance to bring them back, but that's only going to be once a day on average. You can dig them up at crashed freighters and you can shoot up freighters in space if you see SFM in their cargo holds.

Not necessarily. I believe the anchor point derelict freighters gave somnal. But you could go elsewhere for other stuff.
But yes with the expedition over neither item is findable anymore.

Expedition Aftermath
- Now that the expedition run period is over, if you have not logged into your expedition save since it ended, the next time you log in, you will be prompted to convert it to a "standard save". After you do this and exit out to mode select, you will notice that it has become a survival mode save.
- Your stashes of liquid sun, somnal dust and ancestral memories will still be intact, though without their special uses from the expedition. Liquid sun is useful at one point during the living ship quest, while the other two items are only good for trade or nostalgia.
- Once your save has been converted to a survival mode save, the first time you log back into the save after closing the game fully, you will notice that any X modules you installed from memory fragments may have crap stats instead of the nice stats they had. You will want to check each one and replace as you see fit.
- Prices for tech upgrades, tech blueprints and base parts are now back to their usual numbers instead of the 10-fold prices we saw during the expedition.
- You can continue to craft memory fragments once you obtain the required materials, but as far as upgrades, they will produce X fragments that will generally have crap stats. They can also produce prepackaged tech modules which at least will sell for a few more nanites than the X upgrades.
- The Leviathan server role is now avaialble by self-assignment; see the #roles channel for more.

Obviously the sample size is small, but it seems to be about the same distribution as prior.

I've got a storage container on the freighter full of random upgrades I didn't use from the just ended expedition.
I just started a permadeath save a little while ago and I found the space station so I can scrap the 4 crashed ships I've found.
