hi. I've never done an expedition on multiplayer, so I have some quick questions.
if me and a friend were to start the expedition at the same time, would we end up together, or is there a chance we'd be on different servers?
if we do end up on the same session; is the spawn location the same for all players, or could it be really far away from each other?
also, most importantly; is this expedition fun do to in multiplayer? or do the milestones require each player to go to their own locations, get their own resources, etc. ?

if you're both in expedition saves you should be able to join one another from the title screen i think.

but there is a bug some people are experiencing with waypoints not counting in multiplayer, which is required for one of the milestones, so you may need to disable multiplayer to complete that one.

Hey, so I am not far in the Expedition. On the first Phase, I did the part where you drive to the garbage pile some distance away and then bring 5 items back to the garbage processing site. I went into the lit rectangle and requested Auto Removal -- that happened, but it just said my # of items in bed went from 5 to 0 and did not complete.

Was I not supposed to do the drive-into-the-rectangle and request auto removal? Was this to be manually throwing stuff in the incinerator?

How can I determine what is Special waste vs just waste? I threw a tire in here and it's not Special. I don't see any indication when I look at Special waste that it is Special. How does one know?

toxic (green, toxic symbol)
explosive (red/white, explosive star symbol)

You're missing a digger that can be found in medium elevations. Just run around. and you'll be able to eventually find it, it's rare. But not really rare.

the only problem i've had with the expedition is finding unclaimed save towers and them not registering as unclaimed. i had to hit 11 towers to get the required number for the one stage bit

i just tap-drove the whole way. the slightest bump from a Ball or container will send it flying no matter what

Try disabling multiplayer, save and relog, make sure the milestone is selected and try to find more waypoints. This may take a few tries. There seems to be a bug where some players randomly have difficulty making new waypoints count towards the milestone.

Sentinels are very stupid, so llike a couple shots and they are out of the range where they remember where you are. I almost deaggro'd them on accident

For clarity, ask them to check what version their Xbox is on right now. They can check under Manage Game. If they're 6.18 and not 6.20, it means they're still not on the latest version of the game -- which means no cross-play with other platforms and no expedition access yet

• I need to transport 6 special waste to disposal
• Ive gone to waste heap and loaded up the special waste
• On my way back colossus glitched out and all my waste went under the map
• I go back and theres half the amount but still 6
• I head towards disposal and half of it gets knocked out so I only have 3
• I auto collect it and it only registers 1
• I go back to waste heap
• Collect more, I have 8
• Make my way back to disposal
• Right before getting there another players colossus collides with mine and 5/8 falls out, I manage to save 1 so I have 4
• Auto collect it, it doesnt register ANY of it
• I go back to waste heap and now ZERO special waste is respawning

the "special waste" you have to throw in the special disposals, not the auto collect

No it's the save points not giving nav data because they put an entire community on one planet. Now if a savepoint is already discovered it wont count for you. I'm stuck at 3/6 and will never finish this expedition until this fix this.

I didn't save edit it. if I had to guess, it's finishing phase 5 that unlocks it. I wasn't like spamming the ship summon button the whole way through the expedition though, so I can't say for sure, only that it was available to summon from a landing pad with all tech repaired after I was done the entire expedition except the waypoint milestone.

Ooo a little tip for those who manage to loose their scrap in a hole I got a thing that will work, use the terrain multiplier to dig a clean wide tunnel and walk your loot to the top of the hole you can save your loot that way rather than chase it up the hole you originally fell from
