Tendrils can be completed on Timestamp III planet, Giumf VII (Kobaya-Odgo XIV system), even though the mission tooltip says there's no infested planets in the system.

you may want to go to abandoned buildings and carefully farm the larval cores for nanites; i say carefully because the biohorrors behavior has changed and can send you thousands of units away. There is also refine pugneum and radiant shards but i find Larval cores easier

The resources I've looked at online all claim that I can find them on a Boiling Doom planet in the same star system of the 3rd Rendezvous point, but it seems to be a completely different star system from where my game says the 3rd Rendezvous point was.

Euclid is the galaxy all players start in and most never leave it so there are A LOT of systems discovered by others all over the place. You will unfortunately find stuff discovered by others quite often there.

No on both counts afaik, they just get turned into Credits and Nanites

For inventory you can go back and forth between saves and keep transferring everything over, though. And for corvette, it's more efficient to just jam every single part onto your corvette, which you can transfer over, assuming it works like the last Expedition

No they don't in my experience but if you take a photo of the planet with the glyphs showing you could go back in normal mode and see if you can get another; things change between expedition mode and normal mode

most players are generous, helpful, etc. there are a few bad apples though just like in every community

So I was unable to locate the system still, so I figured I'd try making a new save, and lo-and-behold, it turns out my weird 3rd Rendezvous system literally is in the same location as the usual 3rd Rendezvous System (the expedition system name only showed up on the galaxy map with the 3rd Timestamp mission selected and the system not being the one under the cursor) and the Mudball planet in it had Hungering Tendrils, so I just reloaded my original save and went there to finish up the expedition. I appreciate you spending a bunch of time trying to help me out, so thanks. :)

I’m really glad I have so much practice scavenging derelict freighters. Now it isn’t a big deal if I have to do that on an Expedition.

Even if I don’t have my usual environmental protection mods from my main save I can do fine,

Also I have really gotten good at doing one-two shots with the Neutron Cannon to take out Horrific Nests and their spawn.

That said, I achieved a record (for me) of spawn running around at the same time. I had 19!

It sucks, but it's the only way I know out of stuck derelict situations.

Also, to keep your scanner, use it to activate derelict scanning, then put it in your portable refiner. It won't get consumed that way.

Even with no NPCs, there are still teleporters, galactic trade terminals, and suit and gun mod stations at each space station. Also on the anomaly quicksilver vendor works as well but that may be moot since you don't have any on the expedition.

i can’t seem to find a deep enough watery planet to finish phase 2, the guide in the right says no water world detected in the system, though the planets i’ve tried to dive in are pretty watery. it says to look in the galaxy map for a water world, but i’m not sure if i’m doing it correctly as it continues to say no ocean planet detected in the system. am I supposed to be looking for ‘Water’ shown in yellow-orange text beside the system type/under the region information when selecting a system in the galaxy map?

Jason Plays youtube seems to think a new expedition between now and end of month. This seems to be based on data mining of the game content. Then redux starting the end of the month when they usually do them. I played a little around three years ago then stopped, and the last two expeditions are the only ones I've caught. Would love to do the rest of them.

Somehow I died in my corvette after killing the jellyfish boss. I respawned at the bottom of the ocean by a crashed ship and my corvette is on the ocean floor. I cannot get into it and it’s damaged. Any ideas on how to get it spawned and fixed?
