Warp back to it following your warp trail. Or if you visited the space station you can use another space station's teleporter to go back to it (it will say Rendezvous 3). You can also use the teleporter on the Anomaly.

Alternatively, players found Gashi 69/B4 moon in Nasuda-Wase Timestamp V system to have a suitable floater. Let floaters come to you, don't chase them, keep aiming up.

I'm having issue with Dereliction milestone. when i try to land on the Derelict Freighter it lands on one of the two invisible pads off to the side and when I exit the ship, the jetpack is disabled so I can't fly to the entrance so I end up falling off the frieghter. Is it bugged? I have multiplayer off, playing Steam version.

I believe in most cases you can find the planets to achieve milestones within the systems the rendezvous points are.

There should be a Marine Planet in one of the rendezvous systems.

You'll find it there.

The only ones that go that deep are fully water planets like the one you find for one of the Rendezvous. You'll be able to spot them from space since they'll be dark blue with pretty much no land masses.

Once you're there, go as far as you can from any shore and go down.
You'll normally go deep enough.

Also keep in mind that when you enter the water, even on the surface, the environment information on the lower left tells you the depth to the ocean floor. You can use that to quickly figure out if you can get to the depth required to finish the milestone.

remember to update restore point after getting progress done, progress that you want to ensure that it's really saved, even if you have to resort to reloading that save a bit later. there's other ways to update restore point too, like a save beacon or save point

yes, as long as you have/leave them equipped before finishing and/or returning to primary, you'll be able to copy them from expedition character into primary character

yeah, the game only pauses if you have multiplayer disabled/arent in a system with other players, which ofc inevitably happens in expedition mode. in short, we shouldnt die a 2nd time before retrieving our first grave, because the 2nd grave will only have items we had on us when we died a 2nd time (it doesnt accumulate items stored after multiple deaths)

that's rendezvous 4 - i didn't check there, but there could be some anomalous flier on one of those moons that works. that said, remember, as mentioned already, there's a moon in rendezvous 5 system, system which you'll go through eventually for phase 5 milestones - that moon is confirmed to have such an anomalous floating animal, we're not forced to complete all milestones before "moving on" to completing milestones from other phases ahead, you can just complete the phase 3 milestone in the phase 5 i.e. rendezvous 5 system

Jellyflesh, you'll need Fishing Rig multitool tech installed. Try fishing near a shore. Have multiplayer disabled and the milestone selected, there shouldn't be a need to use any bait, but if you're not getting it with a few casts, try Mealworms for bait.

I had visited multiple stations and tried all the terminals, eveyone suggests that the looms are there so I try another station and the looms are there (typical) . Thanks for all your advice. I always go straight to the terminal when I need looms but I definitely didnt see them at the other stations

yeah, i know that sometimes happens for some weird reason. perhaps the milestone got deselected, perhaps the game didnt have a marker to begin with, perhaps it's relying on the tooltip lower right to inform the player whether they're in the right system or not. for example, one thing the devs did add was, if there's an active mission and the player visited a station near by, or has a base in a nearby system, it will state that in the teleporter destination entries.

did you see "Nasuda-Wase (rendezvous 5)" on the teleporter stations list? good, the planet you need is in that system.

pulse out of the atmosphere, a fair distance away - that's an issue with markers on giants/gas giants, dropping player ship too soon into atmos

then turn back around, and pulse straight to objective, no flying around the planet too close to it

A month into playing the game, I decided to try Breach (as my first expedition). Not really into it and would like to transfer the things I brought into the expedition at the Nexus console back to my regular save. Sorry for what is probably another very basic question, but...how do I do that? I'm at the console at the Nexus and there is no option to put things back into the console inventory slots and nothing I can see that ends it for me. Is it a case that I have to wait until the expedition is over? I don't want the game to "cash in" my items and transfer credits/nanites for those items that I want to bring back. Also, are there categories of things in my inventory that I cannot bring back?

either that, or complete and claim all milestones, phase and final rewards to be able to unlock expedition terminus inventory again. note, afaik it is intended for you to be able to bring items back/access expedition terminus when an expedition ends server side, but that's kinda out of your control, so especially if you're on pc, i'd suggest making backups of save folder before that time - i'd make a backup today.

most things can be brought back, most notable exception that comes to mind right now is companion eggs.

Well either way some kind of expedition is starting November 7th according to HG's own servers. And personally I doubt they would shorten this new expedition for a redux, especially since it's a bit early. I am definitely inclined to think new expedition is more likely. I wonder why the last minute change in timeline though...I am wondering if we might see a similar thing to Beachhead where they had the collaboration with Mass Effect and the expedition served as a sort of co-promotion for ME Legendary edition. If they just finalized a sort of agreement for a co-promotion with another game that might explain the necessity for keeping to a certain timeline.
