Hello, earlier this morning I was moaning that the game had bugged out and I had lost my emergency signal scanner and there was no way to get a replacement. Since this mornings patch, you can now buy them at the rendevouz 3 abandonned station at least (probably all terminals I expect) but here is a screeny of the system just in case. Abandoned and Outlaw stations don't have them (and all the stations are abandoned). Switch off multiplayer as you go in and you'll be put into the closest slot 🙂

Huh? No, nothing like that. Most of my space walks in the expedition had zero issues. One had some minor problems where trying to fly into the open ramp would glitch me on top of the frigate...but that only happened 3 or 4 times and then it let me back in. Small annoyance but no real problem.

Yes. From the menus, on the page with your saves there is a "Return to main save" button..that returns you to your main save without ending the expedition.

Also I'm pretty sure removing the boltcaster upgrade they give you at the start makes the boltcaster better due to enemy scaling.

The expedition rewards should give you all the gear you need, so don't worry too much. Just make sure to always claim your rewards for completed steps and check what they were, they're often the gear you need to do the next thing. But it would be handy to pack any particularly favorite techs, and some wiring looms cos they're a bit more of a pain to get hold of in this expedition.

I think rd2 planet had them. I remember ignoring the rd point on the planet and collecting storm crystals. I caught the end of the storm as I entered the atmosphere and only got 3 before the storm ended so I just relaxed on my ship until a new storm started.

That was my experience on the R3 freighter. They killed me quick. Then I spent an hour bouncing around looking for a derelict frighter that didn't have infested sacs. No luck, and I'm blocked becuse I'm a lousy shot and I can't find a way thru. Looking for a derelict without infestation.

As a new player i did Expedition 19 with a new save and regretted not doing it with my main save so i can transfer stuff over; i ended up doing it two more time for my normal and survival save then deleting the expedition save i had initially done.

I say do it from main save but make sure you have your inventory, ship slots etc in good order to bring stuff back

Worth keeping in mind that some of these expo's can be very buggy when first released and can bork your save completely if you are not careful. I always do on a new save for that reason. Once burned, always cautious.

Expedition is in abandoned mode. You have to go up the ramp and to the side to find the terminal

Be careful about teleporting into space stations during this expedition. I did that just now, fell through the floor walking back out to the central part to get to my ship, and even calling my ship like on a spacewalk doesn't help, because I'm trapped by the invisible walls of the station.

Now I have to delete the entire save.

Yeah thats a bit tricky ... sometimes they fly lower to the ground .. than I used my jetpack and quickly pressed E to feed it ..

Don't know if this is still an issue for you, but you can turn enemy damage down to minimal in difficulty settings. Might help. And there are a couple of shield upgrades in the milestone rewards that you might be able to grab if you hadn't yet.
