So on the last rendezvous in the Corvette expedition I used the emergency warp to complete Fast Scramble. In this new system I used the anomaly detector to get Dwarfed. This caused me to run into a non hostile sentinel ship that I followed down to a planet but because of the expedition I couldn't claim it. I found the system and planet again, I found the location based on coordinates, I even found a base someone built right next to it and named "crashed sentinel ship" but the terrain was completely different and the base was under ground now and no sign of the ship. I found a few more bases with similar names in the surrounding area. But I can't seem to find the ship. Anyone else run into it?

You can transfer your ship over, and then you can dismantle it and transfer all the parts over (you can do this after you've completed all the required milestones, but before you fully end the expedition. Switch to your primary save in the pause menu).

In the expedition you put stuff in the expedition terminal on the anomaly, then you save and go to your primary save from the pause menu. Then on your primary save you pick the stuff up from the terminal.

if you get a sentinel boundary map it should lead you to a sentinel pillar to shut down the entire planets forces, i managed to do it with running around like a chicken with its head cut off and a mining beam after trying to do it with the suppression level fighting them for a location

once you get to the pillars pretty easy to shut them down, shoot/mine the floating battery looking things around the pillar then go find the computer for the pillar attached in it's own small room on the outside of the pillar

hunt the corrupted sentinels, open the Salvaged Glass they drop, get a Sentinel Boundry Map, use it to find pillar without killing 5 waves

seeing how previous milestone has you killing Corrupted Sentinels, I think thats how HG actually wants to you find the Pillar to shut down the forces

Yup! They're not a guaranteed drop but in vanilla I've collected a handful over several dozen containers popped. You can pop most of the containers from the air in your corvette, and you can scan for them from inside your corvette too, so that should speed you along.

Make sure you save beforehand and to fix it just enter your corvette cockpit and interact with the console.

Yep. All part of the loot table. Unless the expedition specifically changed that, I'm quite confident it will work for you. The alternative would be to fight through several waves of bots on the planet... and thats harder.

Yep. A hybrid of freighter and regular ships, basically. Mixed with base building. Very slick. You can beam down to a planet, star trek style, and save launch fuel if you wish. Or sky dive off them, and the return teleporter automatically becomes a POI on the ground for you.

You can build and access your universal storage bins on your corvette. I renamed four unused ones for "corvette parts I-IV"

Kept em right by the entry ramp. Makes farming parts very straightforward

Honestly, you need to bring less on this expedition than any other. Maybe a source of nanites to copy a multitool, but thats all. Can't copy your ship. Personal tech if you want, but very not necessary.

if you happen to have a freighter you can try using a nutritional processor, it does the same as refiner but only for food

for the one to shut down the forces, kill Corrupted Sentinels to get Salvaged Glass, open the glass to try and get a Sentinel Boundry Map, use the map while on planet to reveal a Pillar, go there and shut it down, I was able to without attacking the Sentinel Minotaurs or destroying the modules

if you start from main save, it starts you fresh as if you made a new save, but you can bring stuff from your main save like cargo, upgrades, n such, people mostly bring stuff to turn into nanites, has no effect on main save progress

one thing that helped me, another Traveler was attacking the same group I was

I kept going invisible with cloak and attacking them from behind

combat also was a bit easier for me since I played in VR, I was able to look around while also shooting them to keep track of the other sentinels

one thing VR has better than Flatscreen, you can shoot something while looking behind you, in flatscreen, your gun follows your view
