One of the best things you can do at the start of the expedition is look at all the missions and note which ones you can knock out at the same time
Any convenient frost planet for farming frostwart
Dissonant planet + corrupt sentinels + free multitool
Pirate System + Smuggling
Lush Planet + Fishing
Etc.
You can do things out of order too, but sometimes it may bite you in the butt bc some rewards directly give you what you need to instantly finish the next mission

Yep, ones of those things that can bite you in the butt if you do things out of order. A good rule of thumb is assume any required technology is given to you, so don't go out of your way to get it. One time loss I took was buying half of the modules for habs, shields, weapons, and whatnot, bc they're given to you. But even with that time loss I did pretty decent time-wise

If you have a save at the anomaly (or want to speed run a new save to it) you can convert a normal save into an expedition and have it merge into your normal save after. I'm not sure if expedition saves still have all the normal story line or not after if you hold them though, but a normal save turned into an expedition definitely should.

If you're on PC (or similar), you can go offline, edit your SEASON_DATA_CACHE.JSON in the nms /cache/ folder and change "AllowSaveContextShipTransfer": false to "AllowSaveContextShipTransfer": true at the very end of the file and that will allow you to copy your expedition ship to your main save (assuming you started the expedition from the Anomaly). This will work even if you've already ended the expedition.

This one expedition was a pretty okay introduction to corvette I guess. The only hard part is disabling sentinel on the planet (I had to fight through all 5 waves). ||Sad to see our Radiant Pillar BC1 sacrificed for corvette :(||

Because you already did. I think you're only supposed to check in once per rendezvous station...and there isn't much reason to care about it anyway. It's an optional milestone...you don't need it to complete the expedition, and it only rewards 1200 QS so not a great reward either.

I'm not worried about making a mistake in the config file editing, more worried about unintended bugs resulting in edits liek that down the line that brick a save. Unlikely but always makes me nervous poking at stuff if I have an in-game solution. But it's such a weird decision to not let you bring your corvette back, the entire focus of the expidition

He advocates to bring silver gold and warp cells. Warp cells I get, they are a hassle. Gold and silver tho is easily obtainable from asteroids. All depends on how much are you in a hurry (tip: community goal still is a long way to go, so if you want it - you have time..)
