Those spiders were tough. They throw exploding globs of purple at you. After i got one to spawn i jumped in my ship and gunned him down. hand weapon wasnt able to kill him with all the healing bots in the area.

Generally speaking, you want to look for anomalous planets, like Shelled, Spined, Plated, Foaming, Fissured, etc. These are more common around colored stars. Most of these planets only generate with 1 kind of fauna on them, so youll need to find 2

Yeah this planet is actually useless too. Every time I get near a burrow, the marker disappears and I can’t find it again since it doesn’t let me land for at least 10 seconds while I circle around trying to find literally any spot while I spam the land button.

All the while, aggressive sentinels spawn near me every 5 seconds, giving me literally no break. I had to take a long route back to my ship and yeah, I give up on this exped.

She now has two saves against her will, which means her main save doesn't have all the currency and items she wanted to transfer.

if there's no copper deposits nearby, pick a direction, walk 300u in that direction, and keep rechecking visor on the way

remember that it's also worth it to loot any buried caches/buried mineral formations on the way

Mine had 11 zones which covered all of my tainted metals needs

Security credentials should come from one of the logs I think. There are also two key data items that can be sold on space stations. I think that sales tainted mental should count.

Look for activated metal of some sort on the info panel when viewing from space, that will at least have extreme storms

Once on the planet, you want it to always be extreme weather, just extreme during a storm won't have them

They show in your visor, and are very distinctive when active

How do I find hungering tendrils? I have been following my target sweep mode thing to "stalk the titan" for the past 10min and have found nothing.

Tips for finding them:

• 1) Try to locate Dissonance Resonators - some of them will be guarded by large quadrupeds.
• 2) Alternatively, you can start a fight by just looting a Gravitino Ball, and escalate wanted level to level 3, when large quadrupeds can spawn.

Tips for taking them out:

• 1) Install Paralysis Mortar+Primary weapon of choice(+3 S-class upgrades). Locate and approach a corrupted quadruped. If there's any floaters around kite them away first (mine something nearby so that they'll go investigate, leaving you alone with the quadruped). Shoot Paralysis Mortar at quadruped to stun it, re-applying stun as needed, while shooting primary weapon.
  Bonus: Unlock and install Voltaic Amplifier from Space Anomaly/Multi-tool research NPC for +21% damage vs stunned entities.
• 2) Use Minotaur+Minotaur Cannon.
• 3) From the air, especially if your current ship has hovering capabilities, for example using Rocket Launcher.

• you can only have 1 elixir of blood, of the right glyph, for the milestone have selected
• did you goto marked portal?
• try to select a different milestone or mission in the Expedition or Log tabs, unpause, wait 10s, reselect breach milestone, follow hint instructions.

don't worry; genetic glitch isn't mission critical, you can just leave it for now, continue progressing other phase 4 milestones. breach 4 will take you to another system, in that system there will be another planet with gold on its resource list, that will have another exotic fauna to scan and complete the genetic glitch milestone with.

I used the starter ship and just shot them with it from the air. Have to make the kill quickly before the sentinel ship arrives. I couldn't take them on, on the ground. Killed one, landed, used the cloaking device to evade. Then repeated for the other kill.

also, you can land, and save+reload - if the large spider was next to a resonator and player didn't kill the dissonance resonator (the drill-like, stationary sentinels), it will also respawn the large spider

strongly recommend: paralysis mortar and voltaic amplifier, install both techs (space anomaly/MT research npc). equip para mortar and your preferred primary. shoot para mortar with alt fire, then shoot stunned enemies by the aoe from para mortar with your primary. crowd control, more damage. feel free to post a screenshot of your multitool inventory whenever.

keeping it very short:

• an expedition is a different game mode.
• we can only play the expedition that's live atm, if there is one.
• regardless of how we start it, any existing saves are intended to be safe, undamaged, untouched, nothing bad comes to them. quite the opposite.
• if you wanted, you could simply goto main menu, play game, new game, expedition mode - there, you're playing expedition mode, expedition 16 redux atm; and your other save is still there, where it was when you left it.
• we can have up to 15 saves side by side at the same time.
• some rewards gained in expedition mode are unlocked account wide, and can then later be claimed on any other save under the same account.

what we refer to as "phase" (expedition mode is sorta like a big quest, divided into multiple phases) and "final" expedition rewards are always unlocked account wide. so when we goto the anomaly quicksilver shop, and select the collect expedition rewards dialog option, in any save of ours that can actually goto the anomaly already, those rewards will be there to claim.

those phase and final rewards are a big part of what drives players to complete expeditions ofc, because they're cool, unique - and the fact that their unlock is tied to account instead of per save.

in your expedition character you will undoubtedly get stuff: if you started the expedition run from a new save, you couldn't easily transfer those items to your main save, unless you asked a friend to hold items for you while you swapped saves.

if you had started the expedition run from inside the anomaly, in one of your existing saves... well, it's just simpler if you see if for yourself. nothing will go forward if you dont want to, but goto the anomaly in your existing save, and interact with the expedition terminus machine that's leftof the quicksilver shop, tucked towards the back wall. read what's there.

Is this on the same save? If so that seems like a bug. Only thing I could think happened is your expedition save data somehow got cleared out (I believe the way they keep you from running the same expedition twice in a row is they look at the expedition data in your save file [which is kept around even after you complete it and go back to your main save] and see if the expedition id is the same).

why not just buy the coordinates from the scrap dealer, go run a derelict freighter mission (have mp disabled), make sure to get crew manifest and captains log, complete the mission iow, then sell both mentioned items to scrap dealer at the station, 200 tainted metal each
