Ok new issue, we got the blood to work on the breach 3 portal but then after submitting he falls through the terrain suddenly and cant move and click anything. Even ESC, has to force crash the game 😅 Looks as though people mined out the bottom of the portal

usually it places you on the portal platform so theres no way to fall through terrain

the experimental branch works for most people, just delete your elixirs of blood and QS before making a new one

OK the solution to this problem is to restore some of the terrain around the portal and have a sentinal agro you before submiting the elixer of blood, the submit it and get stuck - let the sentinals kill you and respawn, pick up your grave and go through the portal

dying shouldn't be necessary, if you need to reload the area, just get in and out of your ship and reload that restore point

Restoring the area still made him get glitched and not be able to move at all

can you see if objects appear to drop into the ground? (like the supplies when killing a sentinel drone) I had that glitch happen to me on Experimental, even my Exocraft would spawn partially in the ground and be stuck, had to use a manual save point base object and fully close and relaunch the game

Tips for finding them:

• 1) Try to locate Dissonance Resonators - some of them will be guarded by large quadrupeds.
• 2) Alternatively, you can start a fight by just looting a Gravitino Ball, and escalate wanted level to level 3, when large quadrupeds can spawn.

Tips for taking them out:

• 1) Install Paralysis Mortar+Primary weapon of choice(+3 S-class upgrades). Locate and approach a corrupted quadruped. If there's any floaters around kite them away first (mine something nearby so that they'll go investigate, leaving you alone with the quadruped). Shoot Paralysis Mortar at quadruped to stun it, re-applying stun as needed, while shooting primary weapon.

But as always; experimental can have more bugs and as such people shouldn't opt into that unless they are ready for that.
In a way it probably should've been that Worlds 2 went into experimental first too, but that wouldn't bring such a big splash

The problem is that there are only 3 days left of the expedition, a lot of people came to play for Worlds 2 and all those people are stuck in the expedition. This bug should be their number 1 priority because as I say there are only 3 days left and there will be people who can't complete it. There are people who talk about extending the duration of the expedition (which I doubt) or simply giving away all the rewards

Nope, it's bugged bad. No current solutions work. Don't bother trying to reset your expedition on a new save or trying any cross-save shenanigans with the experimental PC version either. Reasons not to try to enable cross save and finish on PC:
(1) Cross save beta is full right now and you couldn't transfer your save even if you tried
(2) You have to enable the experimental build, and if you DID get the save to transfer and WERE able to progress the expedition past that step, you wouldn't be able to transfer the save back over to console because the experimental version is incompatible with the version on console

Console players are currently hard locked until they push an update/fix

How to get started with Fishing

1. Unlock Fishing Rig multi-tool tech from the respective NPC in the Space Anomaly, then install it.
   -# Note: Specialized bait crafting recipes will also be taught when unlocking Fishing Rig.
2. Goto any planet with underwater fauna.
3. Optional: In the Multi-Tool inventory, cursor over Fishing Rig, press Apply Bait if you wish to use a bait to fish with.
4. Aim at the water surface, and primary fire.
5. When line gets fully stretched and colors Green, press and hold primary fire.

Caught fish is dropped as an item in inventory.

if you make a couple ionised cobalt and combine them with oxygen it turns 1 ionised into 6 and then you can then conver that back down to cobalt at 1 ionised to 2 cobalt... so pretty much as long as you feed a setup oxygen you'll have endless cobalt

mine it via gas extractor is the way to get o2 imo; that said, yes, you can refine kelp sac to o2, or even do some more advanced recipes.

Tips for finding them:

• 1) Try to locate Dissonance Resonators - some of them will be guarded by large quadrupeds.

Tips for taking them out:

Has anyone else gotten the message "to taste the water, first leave the water" when trying to drink the elixir of water? I have deleted it and remade it, relogged, etc but still get the same message. It's the last thing I have to complete the expedition (and I didn't get this glitch any of the other times I've done this exp)

Hello. Does it take a while for the live servers to catch up with experimental? Asking because on PS5 I got to the phase 3 portal bug, then started a new Cursed expedition on PC and am now also stuck at the same portal in phase 3. At least finishing on PC on experimental will feel like progress. I'll do the PS5 one once the patch it.

in all honesty, no one knows for sure when current exp build will be deemed ready for public. if we and the devs don't find any more bugs, and the current build tests fine for the vast majority of players, they'll deploy it sooner rather than later. that said, extending the expedition duration isn't something the devs are strangers to, they could do it again

Ps5 has a lot of issues lol, oceans completely disappearing from water worlds, bases being deleted if there's 1000u below it, multiple missions getting hard blocked with broken parts. Epileptic level graphical glitches, overheating/turning off console. (Not got this issue myself)
