ok. so to get this to work: make sure you have no blood elixir in your inventory except the recipe wtih at the end (don't make it now if you don't have it).... drink the elixir of glass.... go to the portal it marks.... make the blood elixir with in the name if you have not already... interact with the portal, it should give you special dialogue like it did at the previous portals, and let you "use the blood" as the first portal choice.

as before, craft right elixir blood (note glyph at the end of the name) when asked to, hold it; then elixir of quicksilver to mark portal, and with the right milestone selected, interact with portal. do not hold any other elixir of blood types (of diff glyphs)

Hey does anyone know if water breathing shields are effective during expedition?
The sea hazard proc seems to be calculated differently where you still need air, whereas other hazard protection stuff for planet storms are transformed into reality-weakening-whatever-its-called.

well, that's rng - and that's why i suggested making a small house to fish in: if you're sheltered, and have anomaly sup at 100%, you won't see any boundary errors spawning at all - it won't drain anomaly sup if you're sheltered

if you're still in expedition, then all you're really seeing different from other modes is boundary horrors, boundary strength failing when you let it - have you tried building "Anomaly Seal" in expedition and standing next to it?

Hey question, so I just finished the expedition and tried to use the new egg but it didn't spawn a creature and deleted my egg, I reloaded my save to a manual save a couple times and had the same issue, is the egg bugged?

well, the big advantage is the expedition terminus mechanic, if your primary save still has room for improvement. not just because of the items and copy ship/MT ability, but also because of the merge of currencies like units or nanites, often important to a primary aka main save still in development

A value calculated by the game using multiple variables, including damage innate bonus. It's not a damage ceiling, and it's not how much damage any installed weapon system will do either.

Current tech inventory also factors in, albeit differently depending if multi-tool or starship.

• On multi-tool, only the strongest weapon system installed is included;
• On starship, all installed weapon systems are included.

you're working on large spiders next, i did suggest paralysis mortar unlock from anomaly/mt research npc; i think you'll do just fine, very safe, probably won't even need to use it (it can be equipped side by side your neutron cannon)

if you see multitool damage pot rise, and in this case it's clearly neutron cannon in the lead here, it's neutron cannon and its upgrades that are affecting that damage pot number, then it should be better, yes. and the reason why it rised, is because you gave more adjacency bonus (1 more connected border) to a upgrade module

If you have the mats left in the exped save, to make Elixirs of Quicksilver, do it and bring them back to your main save. They still work to find portals, which could come in handy sometime.

the game won't ever auto force you back into primary, or auto finish if you will

so forget what i said about not claiming all.

(that is valid only for when a player started from new save; if they claim all, game automatically forces conversion to normal mode, and out of expedition)

Actually, you can change back and forth between the Expedition and your primary save at any time. In the options menu check out 'Return to primary save'. Then just go back to the Anomaly terminal when you are ready to resume the Expedition.

Actually, unless they have changed it you can bring back multiple ships if you started the expedition off of your main. After completing all milestones it unlocks the ability to add items back to the terminal in the Anomaly. Load up the terminal and then ONLY use the option from the options menu to 'Return to primary save'. Then you can go to the terminal in your primary and empty it out as well as copy the ship and multitool. Hop in and out of your ship to create a restore point (just in case) and then return to the terminal and 'Resume expedition'. Now you can add more stuff to the terminal to copy back as well as change your active ship and multitool. Then use the options menu again to 'Return to primary save' and repeat as needed.

then in any gek/korvax/vykeen system, use a chart, wait for the marker, then aim at it. if it's a monolith, ignore it. use another chart, spam use through "similar location already marked" error

HINT for VR players. I was struggling with the milestone where you have to look at the sky for 60 seconds. No mater what I did, the counter would not start. I finally went in 2D and it worked liek a charm. Not sure why VR didn't work. My assumption is that any little head movement shuts it down, or it doesn't recognize you are looking at the sky.

no, there's a way, but you'll have to make use of things in your ship, dismantling some installed tech to get some mats

for example, if you dismantle rocket launcher, it will give you copper and condensed carbon

possibly due to portaling to a system with lots of uploaded bases. i'd suggest just waiting till it goes through for now. we've seen reported loading times of 10+ minutes sometimes so you see. that said, turning off internet would make portaling near instant, as game would be unable to connect and just work with data on disk

Users have reported the Egg to disappear after hatching without a companion being added. Further more, we have noticed having the egg in inventory to possibly cause further issues.

We would appreciate reporting this issue to Hello Games , for increased awareness, seeing this issue patched with a future update.

I then used the quicksilver elixer to give me a port which it did. but that portal like all the others I've tried, just wants glyphs and doesn't ask for the elixers.

None of them... the only one that would have asked for the elixer is the one that keeps highlighting for me in the Breach 3 system. But when I visit it, the portal is already active and the pedestal does NOT come up for me to interact with it.

And using that portal just takes me back to the starter system that the Expo begins on...?

The MT has pulse weapon, which is what I’m used to, also stuck SB on it just in case. I don’t have enough tainted metal so I guess I’ll have to run derelicts
I have tech packaged for: rocket boots, mk2 refiner, launch autocharger, hazmat gauntlet, and cold protection (any other tech I should bring?)
I’ve got plenty of resources I think, probably too much. Stuff for units and nanites. Anything you’d trade for something else instead bk? The cargo in my exosuit is what I was planning to take to the expedition

What am I supposed to be searching for when doing the Stone Ghosts milestone? So far I've gone to a monolith (the kind that gives you portal coords at the end) and several artifact ruins, and the completion of this hasn't gone up

1. If a chart type e.g. Alien can locate 3 building types, then to guarantee that you find the building you want you will need to obtain as many charts e.g. 3 Alien charts

2. If the first chart you use doesn't mark the building type you need, do not visit it.

3. Spam Use as many charts of the same type as needed, until you have the HUD marker to the building type you need.
   The message "Similar location already marked" appears when a chart tried to mark a building type that is already marked on the HUD - ignore it and spam Use chart key/button until it goes through.

Additional Notes:

• Outlaw space stations do not spawn cartographers.
• The message "Locational interference detected" appears when a chart is used in an Uncharted aka Uninhabited system.

@remote thunder I appreciate the help, but I'm not following what the process you are showing does exactly? does it somehow reset the portals? Because it seems to me that what happened on my game, is that I found that relic gateway thing when I was pulsing and when I went through it, it completely broke the expo scripting and the game is essentially just playing like normal now?

the milestone currently has 1 portal selected, targetted. there's a failsafe if you will, a failsafe mechanic that allows a player to, when their current position is more than 4000LY away of the target location, get a button in the mission Log that allows them to restart the currently "out of range" mission to a nearby location. that's what is shown in this image:

The best you could do is make a base in each system and label it for your own future purposes. Tbh I don’t even make bases in all “rendezvous” systems anymore, because there are some many expeditions a year but that’s how you could do it (just be sure if you don’t have a base, visit each space stations in each system, and if it doesn’t have one, make a base there)

Oh well..it is late for me currently so I'm out for the night now. Will see if anything changes tomorrow after it has had time to hopefully reset things due to time. But I know that all my games in the past when I created restore points after activating my portals, they had a tendency to still be active when i restored them even days later.

@remote thunder I've never heard of that and I know for sure I've done similar stuff and literally had to backtrack my ass back to systems. I've spent hours just warping to get back to places because I don't recall seeing anything like that before.

the reason why you've most likely never seen it is because you keep good track of your mission objectives

you may need to try other bases too, if the first one doesnt do the trick - just resummon anomaly again and teleport again

remember to wait for a few seconds after teleporting

to give the game time to recalc, register

wait for the hint to pop lower right

then open Log

I remember how happy i was when I finally saw they added portal glyphs to locations I'd found in the past. When I first started the game years ago, i found a planet that was 99.8% perfect but never explored it. Didn't know about it until years later when I saw it was in my discovery list. It took me forever to get back there because by then, I'd explored other galaxies and the like LOL.
