Tips for The Cursed
•Don't stock up on multiple Elixirs of Blood when you first get the recipe.
**Each portal needs its own version of the Elixir of Blood **recipe, which you get from a different milestone.
•Don't sell all the storm crystals. You need one for a specific Elixer of Blood recipe.
•The Breach 3 (Gaxaral) system has no space station; if you may want to return, drop a base computer.
•Returning to space refills the anomaly suppressor bar (aka hazard protection) in a pinch.
•Only the large spider sentinels count for the quad killing milestone.
•The starting system derelict has only jellyfish hostiles.
Note that you should sell the logs to the scrap dealer for tainted metal, for a milestone.
•You can get to the Anomaly after visiting the first Breach system.
•You have no hypderdrive in this expd. Use portals or copy in a ship from an existing save.
•For the ancient ruins milestone, you need the ruins that do NOT have treasures to dig up (i.e. monoliths).
Note that you can skip the signal booster and surge batteries, just buy alien site maps for nav data instead.
Buy 3 maps, spam them all open, then go to the markers for "Plaque" and "Ancient Ruin", interact at each, done.
•Need stocks of dihydrogen? You can buy dihydrogen jellies at an early space station and refine them.

Buy diohydro jelly on station and refine it back to dihydrogen. Mix it with the stuff from ghost squids to make the purple drink for shields.

may I ask two things: have you adjusted your difficulty settings since the last storm that was extreme? if so you could reset them, save0exit-reoad, see what happens. or: do you have multiplayer on? if so, try disabling, save-exit-reload, then fill the bar and wait in ship a cycle and see. otherwise there are other worlds on the route...

I like it better than having to warp around. My only complaint is the naming convention for the blood items. I wasted a quicksilver elixir because I thought the elixir of blood item applied for all portal warps, but an elixir with symbol X doesn't work for one that needs Y.

there's always an inherent risk with almost anything, that's what i mean. haven't seen anybody reporting any issues, major issues, so they should be absolutely fine starting from existing

but it's undeniable that starting from new save doesn't touch other saves - it's a new save slot after all
