No. You will have to wait for a rerun at the end of the year (which may only be this year's expeditions (omega, Adrift, liquidators).

The only other way to play old expeditions is with modified json files and playing offline, The instructions should be pinned somewhere in #nms-modding

Anyone find a paradise planet on any of the systems within or around the expedition? Looking for a temporary location to base until I can find one somewhere else after the expedition is over. I know I don't need to stay around but just want something quick to base on nearby the systems during the expedition until I figure out where I want to go next.

I found one that was close enough, then landed and then for some reason instantly started getting bomb run by some ships. Don't recall triggering anything but took off and went to look elsewhere on a few of the systems I visited during the expedition but couldn't find any as nice. I think it was a tropical in a low conflict system, surprised me when the bombing started. I could have accidently triggered it but don't recall anything.

Look for water biomes to. They tend to have pretty mild climates say for just storms.

Yeah, this had a pretty water biome, found a place to land at a building with a landing platform near the water and was going to go from there and look for a place to build something. I did trigger the horrors, so maybe I accidently shot the building or ignored a message/scan when coming in for the landing.

Horrors won't trigger any air enemies.

They just sorta swarm whatever structure. Not your base

But once the expendition is over, they will just get reduced back to their nest I believe.

the two remaining goals are community milestones. these work similar to the way that new quicksilver items are unlocked by all players working together, but in this case it is by all expedition players. if you end the expedition you will not be able to contribute to those or claim the rewards for free, but you will be able to get them for quicksilver once they are unlocked by expedition players.

They did a special remix of 2021's Cartographers last year, with a variety of different legacy expedition rewards instead of its original reward list. They could do that again this year, but there's no way to br certain.

I’ve always maintained they should do something like this at some point. Only way i can see someone having everything legitimately is by playing the game religiously for literal years.

Looking at some of the stuff rewards they’d had in older expeditions its kinda sad newer players will NEVER be able to unlock the rewards, leading them to use console commands to grab them or someone who has said items to duplicate.

After you shoot the egg a larval core will pop out of it. You just need to get close to it and pick it up. It will despawn after a while.

Sentinels can sometimes get into buildings, but its not common.

Being inside seems to confuse them, even if they make their way inside they won't shoot you

I need quantum computrs & magnetic resonators to construct technologies in my mulitools & starship & exocraft, but I have yet to find them sold at any space station I've been to. And the recipes to craft them would be expensive for me & might take a while to refine mats.

Am I just unlucky, or is the expedition programmed not to have these items very available?

UPDATE: Luck happened! I just asked to trade with a random NPC pilot who landed at the station I was at and he had Quantum Computers! I bought like 20. Now I just need Magnetic Resonators and I'm set.

I've only had the game a few weeks, too, and I understand there will be an "end of year" opportunity to unlock stuff from previous expeditions through a truncated expedition journey, but I am not sure how this works, myself. Otherwise, you can mod the game to unlock previous expedition stuff, which sounds pretty tempting to me (you still have to spend Quicksilver on it, I think)

you can look for 'subterranean relics' in the HUD, then dig down when you get to the marker, there will be a cave below

the same is generally true for humming sacs, though sometimes those are on the surface near a cave opening.

look in your HUD for a dissonant resonator (tall skinny icon), then go there, shoot it (avoid being attacked by the guard dissonant sentinels),

if you get an echo locator, then use it to go to a harmonic camp and follow the tooltips

if you get an inverted mirror, save it, you need it, but go find another resonator, repeat until you get the echo locator

you should make sure that you get 1 inverted mirror and 3 radiant shards along the way.

your other option is to figth 5 waves of corrupted sentinels but if you're not well equipped, that might be pretty tough
