I believe you would have to wait until those goals are reached to get them for free before ending the expedition. Otherwise the save turns into a normal save and you can't claim expedition rewards like that.

I think people say you should keep at least 1 save to help make sure you keep access to all the expedition rewards you've earned, but other than that you should be able to delete most

There used to be auto messages posted every hour or so in nms-help ... it got to the point in quiet periods that the bot was the only one posting. So you'd end up with numerous posts all identical one after the other just spaced an hour apart. So it was stopped, auto messages have their uses but can also be a PITA.

How do I get Apex Predator?
Some people have had a bug with getting credit for scanning the creatures listed here. A solution that has worked for people is to make sure you take a save (get out of your ship, basically) you can revert to before you scan the creature. If it doesn't count for Apex Predator at that point just shut down the game (without saving) and fully restart it then try to scan again. Some people have had to do this several times.

When finishing exp and going back to main save, stuff left behind will convert to currency like units, nanites ,quicksilver and other things like killed sentinels will be also rewarded. So take only best things. Also have ship and mt u want to take back active. U can copy it to main save
