Yeah no, that's not what I want to do. I want to copy my expedition multitool and ship to my main save :). Which requires nanites for my main save character. What I meant is the nanites have to be on my main save character to do that transfer BEFORE i do the full expedition ending transfer, which would move the expedition nanites to my main save character.

I don’t know about the best way, but without having any upgrades to my mining beam I found a cluster of big trees and mined them while making sure to never accidentally use my beam on anything else during it. The mining beam overheated but the progress still counted afterwards. I didn’t take my finger off the button.

don't end expedition unless you want to pay quicksilver for the minotaur parts! you won't have your freighter due to it technically being a brand new save but with your character, ship and multi-tool. there is a button in the expeditions terminal in the anomaly that lets you return to your main save WITHOUT ENDING THE EXPEDITION, and obviously when returning to your main save you'll have your freighter

You can only move items to your main save when you click “end expedition” at the expedition terminal. This finalizes the expedition save however and turns it into a normal save. If you still want to participate in the expedition for the optional milestones, you will have to wait to transfer items.

Usually it’s marked on the galaxy…. If all else fails… learning a gliph and spamming it at a portal if you can even do that… gets you really close to the center of the galaxy for a new universe where you can reset goals

Yeah, I'm watching Jason plays tutorial. And he says both the underwater worm and the crab creature on the ringed planet in the system for the fourth drop zone both work. The Crab creature didn't work for me so we'll see.

I tried to watch another guys tutorial, but his planet in the system names didn't even match what was in my game.

My biggest hack I did this time was I hit a corrupted sentinel planet before the second rendezvous. Killing The corrupted sentinels triggered both the sentinel and corrupted sentinel kills.

Discovery services have been having issues recently which will cause the planet names to be different and it can cause problems with that milestone completing

I've done that to and it still didn't count it. This has honestly been the most frustrating and obnoxious expedition I've done thus far.

You can bring out whichever ship or multitool you currently have equipped.

Pro tip; you can actually use your spaceship's main cannon to do that challenge.
So get in it [easiest with a sentinel ship because its air brake can basically stop you in place completely, but work with what you've got], pick a planet with lots of little rocks & flora crowding its ground [the weaker & more numerous the stuff you're shooting at, the better!], then use short taps of your ship's cannon to strafe the earth below.
You'll get it done faster & easier that way compared to using your multitool.

You should get the Haz-mat gauntlet for a milestone reward. On planets with biological horrors use your scanner to find red grubs. You use the haz-mat gauntlet to grab it, then squish it in your inventory.

Just check back in as the community goals are cleared & you should be able to redeem the rewards from the quicksilver vendor on any save after that.
