OK, I have a very MAJOR bug happening upon completing the expedition! When I complete it via hitting “Accept”, it just removes all HUD, and I’m just able to move a cursor around. The game is running and not locked up, but can’t bring up any menus nor move my character at all. Running on PS5. Anybody else having this!?

This worked! BTW - try to be flying or swimming before attempting this. The alert to completion happens when your feet touch the ground, so timing is critical.

Did it on my first go. Worked perfectly! (How the heck this person found this out, I have NO idea! >_<)

You can just set a hotkey for photo mode and you don't need to worry about timing. Just collect reward and spam the button

Also, if you do this, save, and reload, the message with the Accept button will reappear some time later even if you already got all the rewards. And you still get stuck without UI.

So you can't really keep playing on the expedition save, at least until HG fixes that bug.

If you ended up completely stuck after collecting the last community reward to finish up, please try the following:

• Load into the game save.
• Enter Photo Mode (Quick Menu, scroll right) before the"expedition complete" notification pops up.
• Wait for "Expedition complete" to appear.
• Hit Accept (may be buggy since it's taking a screenshot too, so just press and hold).
• Once the "Expedition complete" message disappears, you can exit camera mode.

Most people have been copying things for the tech, rather than the mt or ships themselves.

You shove the tech you want into a ship or mt, copy, then rip the tech back off to use wherever else you want.

When you switch back to your main save or end the expedition, it saves whatever mt and ship you have currently selected, and you cam copy em from the terminal for nanites.

It goes both ways.

You can copy one mt and ship to take in. And can copy ships and tools to take back.

so i asked earlier about what actually happens if you complete the expedition if you started a new save, turns out the game froze - the mouse still moved but you cant interact with the game (this further means you cannot save the game after collecting the last reward)

good thing i manged to fix this

• i teleported back to my main base outside the final system (not sure if needed)
• hopped in my ship and out again to create save point
• hopped back in my ship and exited again, but this time before the hatch opened, i instantly went to expedition rewards page
• accepted rewards and allowed the exit ship animation to finalise, thereby completing the expedition
• which promptly froze the game, but the save point had already been created, allowing me to collect the egg in main save afterwards
  CONFIRMED on my end

Hi guys, so I have finished the expedition and is ready to go back to my main save, but before I do so I want to confirm something.
So I copied the ship and multitool from main save for this expedition, I also made changes by moving all the techs to another better ship/multitool, does these changes reflect back to the original ship/multitool in the main save? In another word, if I just go back to the main save without bringing in anything in the expedition terminal, will I lost my techs from the original ship/multitool in my main save?

Yeah I figured that out, it took me a few tries, I had to restart the game from my last save a bunch but quickly going into photo-mode after you claim the last milestone but before you get the end expedition pop up works and enables you to still accept when your character is stuck. Then you're able to move freely afterwards and go claim your expedition items. I did it on a planet where I could die to weather just in case because I heard that is also a work around.

You have to be faster. Right after you claim the final milestone, back out immediately and go to photo mode. If you do this quickly enough you will be able to click accept.

always leave the summoner alive when you reach lv2, use their own energy shields, interact with combat supply barrels they drop to get shield recharges, keep going to town

neutron cannon aoe blast can take out the summoner so be sure to try and kite others a little bit away from it

really, it's about taking in as much information from the game as possible

for example, you get to go through 1 planetary archive

that planetary archive sells solar mirrors

you'll need one further ahead - so get 1 now, no point risking it not finding it later

@shadow compass 1st you have to visit a pirate system in order to buy the "illegal" goods.
And you'll only need the ticket if you get caught.
||Once you purchase items, run and sell them in normal system. If you don't get scanned, you won't have to use the ticket||

correct, claiming optional milestones from each of the phases will unlock the eggs account wide. exp12 is the first expedition to do this iirc: an optional milestone reward unlocking something account wide (in the quicksilver shop)

You are not really using that save.. Something like a copy of it.
I haven't started the Expedition that way so, I'm not 100% certain.
When you end the Exped it will create a new normal save that will be separate from you regular save. In the regular save you csn go to the QS Kiosk and claim eggs from the Exped.

If you completed an expedition 100% it reverts to a normal save. You can always start new saves and keep replaying it until the expedition is over

Nms is optimized on switch to look good and run as best as possible it has some bugs but they completely rebuilt the switch version in one of the updates they did recently they rebuilt the game from the ground up for switch

I believe you go to the anomaly to the machine built next to the Nexus, towards the QS Kiosk. And move it from there. Be sure to Store the tech 1st.

You know how you have your tech setup in MT/Ship/Suit?
You click it and press the corresponding but that shows Store.
It will convert it so that it can be moved, but not shared with other travelers, only within the same save.

If you dismantle it. You basically get the materials back.. But lose the tech.

If you want to use it in your regular save. This expedition now let's you do it. For a few items not all.
It's new, so it goes again what I type previously. But still cannot be shared with other travelers.

Yes, rewards from expeditions are account wide. Even creating a new save on the same account will have access to all expedition rewards you've earned.

Just go to the Quick Silver vendor on the Anomaly and look under Expediton Rewards.

That's just a patch note for website the update itself still needs to be verified or certified before steam will send it through I believe

That's easy then. Go back to the terminal and end it. Make sure you move any tech you want back before you end it. You don't get a new save. It just ends and returns your normal save as it was minus any tech you may have moved during the start.

It should be available at the Quick Silver vendor on your main (as well as any new or existing game save you have account wide). Before you claim it, make sure it has the slots you want. From my understanding, the slots change each time you look at it, leave the vendor, and check again. Repeat that process and only claim it when it looks like you want it to. I'm sure you can check some YouTube to see how to do it.

Maybe im not explaining my issue quite right. this is my first expedition.

I started the Omega expedition from the terminal in the anomaly from my primary save.
after i started it my primary save when i load the game at launch only shows the expedition save now.
I Completed the omega expedition. but i like where my character is at, the items i have and the bases ive built and i want to just keep it as a normal save.
I dont want to lose my original primary save either. i want to know if theres a way i can end it that results in keeping both saves.
