Not necessarily, it follows the same methods to find the interceptor:

• Either lift the seal of a harmonic camp to locate a crash site.
• Or, find an echo locator by hunting down dissonant resonators.
• Or, acquire a Carrier A.I. Fragment by taking down a sentinel freighter.
  After that the normal steps of fixing the interceptot and converting the hyaline brain into a harmonic brain needs to be performed.

I don’t know if it was just a glitch but I was stuck in combat for over twenty minutes behind the interceptor mission

had to run from my ship shooting sentinel dogs the whole way, summon it at a building then double back to the crashed interceptor before I could escape with the ship

It was a real adventure

I have yet to start the expedition. I want to prepare first. Any recommendations on useful items to take with me? I watched one video that said to take 200x cactus flesh and 200x fungal mold to save time on one of the missions. I’ll probably take a stack of starship ai valves too to help with money. Are there some other useful basic things to bring like chromatic metal or carbon/oxygen that save time harvesting?

@ripe scroll if you can: Craft warping tech of blue star system and bring it with you. Which will avoid you to visit red and green systems for the sake of getting items for it.

Beside of that would nothing much needed. You do not need much money - 135k to be precise is what you need as one objection is to buy 5 microchips for the warp technology.

Weaker I guess not really, you could go for Corrupted sentinels, as they do spawn in decent bulk and I have experienced slightly less damage from them (but that might be just me)

The best weapon I found is Scatter Blaster. It shoots 2 shots every some seconds, but if you shoot by tapping it is quite a devastating damage output upclose

When you end the expedition while started from your main save are all bases converted and transfered to your main save.

As normal save and expedition save are seperated is my guess that those players simply no longer are in your save mode (aka no more expedition save)

no, if u end the expedition u can't get the community milestone rewards

for R5 atleast since that's the only one left

last milestone is community one. so many many many people need to scan as much as possible. if you end the expediton you cannot get the rewards.

Two things about that:

1. If you need the QS reward simple do a nexus quest on expedition save as those rewards getting backtransfered to main save

2. if you like to have the egg: you can start a 2nd save for expedition as long as omega is active. once you completed the expedition again (even if it is only the objection to reach the RDV systems and hence enable the reached RDV and optional milestone) will the egg be collectable at the QS vendor on all saves.

Hopefully it's a quick patch on their part to fix. There is always the hail mary System Restore Explorer method, if you're on PC and have System Restore enabled, where you can pull stuff from appdata usually... But I really don't want to have to explain en masse how to do that 😄

ok, so after a suggested alt-f4 on pc I was:

• able to get back into the save at the last saved location
• accept some of the individual rewards
• move around and act as normal (as possible)

however, on accepting the ship it auto completes the expedition and it is still hanging.

yes, for me Id not completed the optional phase 5 (the community planet scan). As soon as it completed I got the notif to claim the reward. luckily for me that was the last save point, so I can load back in and not claim it

It’s probably because they did a new thing with the expedition saves and there’s a code hang up with how it all works together now

Depends on when people make saves. If they save and claim final reward, they reload to an unclaimed final reward. If they claim final reward and save quick, they reload into the Expedition Complete screen and soft lock.

Well good to know. I also played the expedition with my main save. But I took it out of expedition mode before I got off. So I can still play my main save like nothings wrong.....except every time I am in my ship and open my inventory the game crashes. Or if I just got out of my ship I have to reload restore point before opening inventory or it will crash

Guys got a problem. Finished the expedition, I get that "ACCEPT" button notification, saying I should go to the anomaly to finish.

Well I click that ACCEPT and suddenly I loose the whole control of the game. Only option is to ALT + F4
