make sure you click final phase in the expeditions screen then click the golden badge at the bottom. then you can pause your expedition save either through the escape menu or through the anomaly. once you're back in your main save, you can copy your current ship and you can claim it from the quicksilver merchant

You can't physically send the eggs back, no. But completing the milestone unlocks them to be claimed at the QS merchant when you return.

the golden badge doesn't pause the save, you do that through another part of the escape menu or through the anomaly. clicking the badge just claims the item for your entire account. make sure you click the other badges if you haven't already so you get everything else

that will send your character over to the main save but not the ship. for the ship, you need to be on your main save and go to the expedition terminal in the anomaly

i haven't really looked at the escape menu option but in the anomaly you have an option to temporarily go back to your main save and another option to end it. you want to choose the option that lets you go back temporarily

Interceptor mission chain is broken for some in the expedition. The star ship is sending us to the camp where we interact with things and the camp is sending me off to another ship crash site. It isn't doing anything with the brain that initially sent me there. So then i had two missions for ships. Which i gave up on and went back to my main save, both missions were then deliberately abandoned. And ANOHTER mission for the exact same thing popped up which had not been there previously. That one wanted to send me somewhere across the regular galaxy from around a year ago or so when i last played, which i have NO way to find after such a long time as the game assumed i am next to any old quest and no longer gives the option to restart it on a local basis as i seem to remember the game having an an option previously. And why do all your missions rotate back and forth at the bottom right of the screen? I just want to set it to the ONE mission i WANT to do. I have seen this reported for years by the way... probalby not coming back to game after this waste of serveral hours and the extreme frustration with the game.

It ain't broken. You're doing it wrong. The Carrier AI Fragment takes you to the stranded ships location. you loot a brain from the ship and then activate it from your inventory. It'll take you to a monolith and there you need to activate the brain, take it back to the crashed ship and claim it.

You get it FROM the expedition but I don’t think you need it later in the expedition

You don't have to do the milestones in order. If the game sees you complete a different one on a different phase you're busy with, it will complete. That's how it always worked.

Ok... I've now watched 2 youtube guides for this expd from Xaine's World and I'm still kinda confused on the process of how to start this thing & transfer things over from my current main save. I asked questions in this channel last night but peoples' answers only confused me further. Shall we try it again?

||living frigates are not dangerous and they can be added to your freighter fleet also that device does give you a space encounter but non of them are ever dangerous there is only 1 that sorta is and it's a giant worm thing and if you shoot it it sucks you in and deals dmg to you but just don't shoot them||

It doesn't transfer it creats a copy of it and tech will be saved to it and copy over after the expedition is done everything you earned in Said expedition will go back with you to your normal save and the ships and multitools you copied will disappear but still be in your normal save

Yep dedicated space on the terminal. If I am not mistaken was it 8 Slots for techs.

@exotic fiber Items/Techs you put into the terminal are not a copy. They are gone on your mainsave. But here comes the twist: At the end of the expedition you can use the same terminal to transfer stuff back to your main account.

The slots at the terminal are for tech and goodies you transfer to your expedition save. The copying, blue buttons on the bottom of the terminal screen, are for copying MT and ship.
