in past expeditions, i've been able to claim QS cross-save rewards from other expeditions and twitch drops. i haven't played this expedition to confirm. but if you don't see the option, it could be a network connectivity issue with HG's servers. sometimes restarting my game or my router, or trying later, it resolves the issue.

umm offline offline as in internet off, not just with MP disabled. as in, your game won't pull the info about other players' bases from the ODS servers. at least while you're trying to find certain things that don't require online connectivity.

you can clear players' bases by going to another system without bases. do a save (at a space station or wherever). reload the game offline. then teleport back to where you're trying to go and the other players' bases should be cleared from your save to reduce the clutter in the HUD. play offline until it's time for you to do something requiring ODS connectivity. like making your contributions as an example.

I’m assuming altas not available until the community is done because i believe we are mincing the seed of power to the atlas because we have the blueprint of the previous seed

The community goal needs to be completed fully for anyone to progress unfortunately. Seems HG opted to timegate it to account for the ARG lore. Should be good to finish the expedition by end of the week if the seed deposit rate continues

Don't be mistaken though, personal completion of expeditions should never be timegated. Especially when it's a time limited event

Oh sure we have plenty of time to finish it in. But my point is that if you want to blitz it in a day you should be able to. If you want to take all 5 weeks then go for it. You should never be forced to completely stop progression especially on the final stage

In defence of HG. Most development houses tend to "bungle" updates/missions at launch. So its not unique to HG/NMS.... That doesn't make it any less annoying though.

yeah. it's weird enough that I try to not think about it. approaching stations makes sense (station takes over controls to dock you or something) but combat?
