Punkin youve already handed 1 of those items into the construct so you'll need to make a new save. When you get to the part of handing an item to the construct, hand 1 in then reload.

||from what i've read Xeno sidestepped the completion of the community event via a bug and got an NPC to a future state with two forking dialog options. For anyone -not bugged- I just recommend that in the future, if there is a forking dialog option, to create a save then before selecting anything. As it stands, it is not possible to do what Xeno did.

My guess is your playername gets its hash and that is used to generate / pick a preset

That’s a nice sentiment, but it’s far more likely that people just play their main save or another game for 2-3 weeks until HG autocompletes the community goal. People have tested submissions and saw no impact on progress. That and the graph of the community goals for the quicksilver vendor show a steady climb towards the goal each time, something that wouldn’t be so uniform if it were truly based on player participation. We would see more fluctuations to account for fluctuations in player population based on time zone and weekends vs weekdays.

The expedition is a separate save

Any items you unlock in the expedition then become available in all other saves

Although after expo is done it reverts to a normal save although not sure if it reverts to normal play or Survival etc

If it's your very first time playing, perhaps play normal mode for a bit. The game does have a pretty decent tutorial that walks you through how the game mechanics work.

All the phase rewards you get are account bound, you do not need to make a normal save first to receive them. I only suggested the normal mode first cuz it walks you through the game mechanics, while expedition drops you in the middle of it and expects you to know how the game works.

I dunno then, try landing on a space station nearby and restarting the game. Also don't try to boost straight into the docking beam, it can screw you up and cause the collisions.

You can buy coordinates to alien artefacts from cartographer, then find a monolith, solve it and get portal coordinates from there

For coordinets hunting, if you are relly far away, you see where the coords move to the place you want, then just boos barelly outside of the planet while looking to the horizon

Then stop as soon as you boost

And get into the planet
