you need faecium and gamma root - i'd say best bet is to try the space station pilots if you don't wanna farm them, just be sure you're in a system where there are irradiated planets

HG would never not look out for the community's interest. The community event will work itself out. Most expeditions take under 20 hours to complete. And hopefully all consoles will start getting the update soon. Xbox got it today. We'll see when PS and Switch get theirs

go back to the nexus, talk to the robot youre building, do the first dialogue options, then when all the prompts show up for completion reload your last save when landing, walk back to the robot and do the other option, you can now claim both helmets directly from the quicksilver expedition tab

It exists separately, so you won't find existing bases even if they are supposed to be there on e.g Euclid.

I don't know what happens after the expedition ends and the save is turned into a normal one though.

I think these objectives are intended to prevent people from rushing the expedition. It's too much for one person, but trivial for thousands.

There def are better and worse dissonant planets for harvesting them, some are all over the place, others you can run around for 15 minutes and not see a single one

A simple server-side counter getting increased every time an HTTP request is sent from interacting with the Nada machine will probably suffice to keep track of the milestone.
