The trouble with spawned S-class ships is their stats are randomized within whatever range they can have, so you're never quite sure what you're going to get.

Although, the stats never really mattered much after a few upgrades. I wonder if that's changed?

I see they fixed an issue with the maneuverability display, but it didn't sound like the one where the maneuverability displays the value for your current ship, regardless of which you're viewing with the visor.

Good effort, but the part descriptors for solar ships only have ... four categories and a handful of parts in each. (Three sails, six bodies, six wings, and five tips). There's no accesories or parts that only generate sometimes. Good for folks who haven't seen the ship before though.

Exotics are the least diverse ship class by far. It's really easy to find whatever you want 'legitimately'. If you just want any Exotic to look the way you want people have long since reverse engineered every single possible variation they have.

21 is what our regular systems were set to before this update. The way it works is the dominant lifeform has their preferred ship type. Korvax/explorers, gek/haulers vykeen/fighters.
So in a Korvax system we would expect 7 explorers, 7 shuttles, 3 haulers, 3 fighters and 1 exotic.
Each race would have 7 of their preferred, with the same spread.

Part of is that every update, I have to start fresh. Which of course means regaining a decent freighter, among many other things.

As capital freighters are not only system-locked but time and jump-locked as well, they're one of the more annoying things to re-obtain.

Note to self : I traded my previous purchased freighter for the normy freighter that was offered in the dreadnought system even though it wasn't a Capital freighter, then saved, deducted 300 mil credits from my account, changed it from C to S, Tiny to Capital, and auto-generated a Model based on the Home seed, which automatically turned it into the Capital Dreadnought. Then I bought some colors with Nanites and voila, finished. Now to go find some storage augments.

just make a save, reload and keep looking for the ship you want and the pirates will be gone on reload anyway

multi-player will screw up the ship respawns so reload a save here and look solo
