that's a base stat of 1

Basically, to calculate the base stats of a frigate, add up all of the stats, then subtract all of the bonuses from its perks (if it has negative perks, those subtract will convert into add).

Then subtract 6 for every rank up it has from its expedition, 25 expedition means 4 rank ups, so (7+19+3+17) - (15+3+3)-6*4 = 46-21-24 = 1

the first 4 ranks is at expedition numbers 4, 8, 15 and 25, then every 5 thereafter, any other expedition number in between, take the nearest rank up below your expedition count

--echo locators takes you to a camp with sentinel weapon and Autopage weapon the camp will mark a lot of sentinel ship i think 20 not sure but a lot ( 1 echo locator = 20 or more sentinel ship) needs some tinkering on the camp

--for me of your just farming sentinel ships, then go for echo locator
if your looking for a specific design of a sentinel ship use ai fragment

tip: if your going to camp put down save beacon, so you wont loose the camp and you can comeback again to the camp so it will mark again a sentinel ship

as what im doing with the save beacon i always change its color to yellow so its easier to find its icon

i'm so happy! installed this game yesterday and just claimed my sentiniel ship and got an extra S ship in the trade sector next to it!

In a pinch you can also pick a fight with the dissonant sentinels and clear all 5 waves, about 95% of the time if a ship is on the planet it will mark one for you.
Once in a while it won't mark one, and definitely won't if the planet doesn't have any ships on it anyways.

You can only recolor corvettes and freighters. You can only color starships when they are being made at the starship manufacturing terminal (which means you can only do that for Solar, Hauler, Explorer and Fighter). No starships can be colored or recolored after they spawn or made

i got my radiant pillar back, but it glitched and reskinned. still has the right stickers and everything, just a different color. i maxed it out anyways and named it the "Radiant Pillar EC1" cause the original is called "Radiant Pillar BC1"

Yeah, this is a common bug due to it relying on "useoldcolours" which can break due to certain circumstances, I think mainly it not being in ship slot 1? Idk

When ship colors were overhauled for NEXT, they wanted the old "starter ship" and ships owned previously by players to remain the same colors as before I think

If you are in the same solar system you will only see the one, each system is different but given the huge number of systems and the smaller possible designs similar ones certainly will exist.

Procedural ship appearance is fully dependent on the ship's seed, so the way the game interprets those seeds can be changed by mods but others will have their games interpret those seeds normally still

that makes sense, they dont have the mods to differ their devices interpretation of the ships seed. the mods affect the player, not the game. really neat, and vastly different than the mods im used too, which are in single player games, so they can change and add to the games data, instead of having to change the game it messes with your device.

so someday i could have a green royal, but only i would see it as green since its modded. my photos would too, which is why i saw photos of one. whereas the ball was messed with directly, not with a mod. which would be why my buddy could sell it like that to an npc for me to buy and why others see it as i see it

That's cuz the "useOldColours" tag bugs out often, which is what allows the Radiant Pillar BC1 to use it's colors from the Atlas Rises era

when you fabricate a ship, it's seed value used to determine stats, SC slots, bonuses, etc is generated based on the parts you put in and the location of the space station in galaxy

you use the same set of parts but on different space stations, you get different names, different stats, different SC slots on what visually appears to be the same ship

so you can jump between stations trying to find the place that (combined with selected parts) gives you better SC slot configuration

Kinda. System freighters are much more complex, but boils down to just different shaft types, lengths, wings and underparts depending on which kind. The cargo parts can't have "wings" and are basically a big mix-and-match stick of different shapes of cargo

Yeah, each system has one exotic, but that exotic can spawn more than once. Think of it as system having a selection of ships and when a ship spawns it draws a ship from the pool. Each pool has one exotic, but it can spawn mutliple times

sometimes the smaller ship is nice

it travels between planets faster than the corvette

and i discovered I can warp max exotic range, then warp the freighter to me, even though its outside the freighers normal warp range

Engines are different, and this one has markings.

Never had that issue.

You can always try bombarding the area you're coming up on, if there's resources in the way that count as blocking landing, but otherwise I got no suggestions.

just got my first living ship, how is it, havent really done much research on these things but from slots alone seems pretty good

just read they come with 36 slots and 30 tech slots, i swear this is some sort of glitch it's happened to my sentinel interceptor as well that when i claimed it, it came with more slots it too 40 when originally it was supposed to come with 30 tech slots cant be a coincidence if it happened twice

ive been a prey of one of the grifters, i met him on space anomaly, then he just wants help, i followed him with my corvette in his home system then land on his planet, then he step on a teleporter then i followed him and went to the teleporter because i want to help, suddenly i teleport to a big big box like cage, bigger than a trade station, my pvp was off back then, then suddenly my hazer protection goes wild it said extreme heat detected, in just 5 secs all my 3 battery hazard protection depletes, in less then 10 secs i died, after revival, all my items are gone becuase of my settings, then he uses a terrain manipulator and berried me under ground, while under ground my hazard protection still going down like crazy, i got to surface and i want to summon my ship but still he dont want me to summon my ship

You can build preferred one yourself, though it needs either lots of units or repeating crashed ship repeatable quest.

Do the battle : 6 Phase Beam on a Corvette, then destroy the four reactor at the rear of the Pirate Dreadnought, then all the 5-6 big red laser turret. Almost one clic of phase beam to destroy each. Don't care the torpedos. It takes 30 sec. Search Youtube video who show this.

Shooting out engines is important, because without that dreadnought tries to escape.

Also, if you want non-dread capital, I've read that strat is to be in games for at least 3 hours unpaused and Jumping into system five times to trigger capital freighter fight.

Dunno if it's up to date though.

that's what I'm asking, for sentinel and venators there's different sizes and looks. and if I want to find the one I want, I'll have to just warp around. but if I warp around I'll trigger the battle eventually because of the 5 warp trigger.

AFAIK, the size and type of Venator/Sentinel is dependant on luck.

Can't help much here, I haven't even tried and went for dreadnought because it was easier to roll.
