Size does not matter, besides that the bigger capital freighter designs have larger starting inventory sizes

But they can all be upgraded to reach the same capacities per their class

Installed upgrades are multiplied against the stat bonus, yes, but something with upgrades will always be better than something without upgrades, even just a few upgrades

And of course putting upgrades on the ship will make it better

I have a question: when I search for a sentinel interceptor from one harmony camp on a dissonance planet, is the class of ship I get determined at the moment I use the computer, or does the game generate a string of data after I enter the system, and it is already predetermined that, for example, all of them will be C, but No. 20 will be B, No. 50 is A, and 67 sentinel, which I find on this planet, is S? I am currently hunting for a ship in the Dissonance pirate system.

Don't forget that by upgrading B-A class ships, you will often get better ships than the S class ships that you find directly.
Since all ships have different statistics, only their external appearance is the same.

So if you find a B ship with two purple slots next to each other, it's always worth checking what you'll get in A-S.

There is approximately a 2% chance that a S sentinel ship will be in a level 3 conflict zone if the dissonent planet is present.

So far, I have found one Sentinel ship at level S. In addition, I have found much better ones in categories B-A, which were later upgraded.

The difference between two fully upgraded ships where one has like 1,000 u/s due to supercharging boost stuff and the other doesn't have boost stuff supercharged at all is 0
For an already upgraded ship, the trails and bobbleheads won't add any more real speed, only the bugged number that isn't aware of the cap

I believe 1/4 of them are orange + white, 1/4 of them are black and another color, 1/4 of them are anotehr color + white, and the last 1/4 of them are two random colors

The colors also have some sort of weight system to them too, with grey being very very rare

Which of these options is more economical: buying three C Solars (to strip) + an S core, or buying an A Solar and upgrading it to S?

Fabricating your own would be a lot cheaper nanites wise, since it costs at most 12,000 nanites to buy an S-Class reactor but 50,000 to upgrade from A to S

well it depends on ur play style. personally i like exotics more since their literally the jack of all trades but i ran sentinels before i got one of my exotics and sentinels werent bad either. they just lacked hyperdrive and shielding tbh, outside that sentinels looks really cool

It isn't really advised to force your first living ship to be a specific one found online

The second living ship and onwards are more malleable to being reset i guess

This is a guide for doing that, in case you wanna try at least #nms-questions message

But yeah. The guide also says that the Starbirth ending ship doesn't work with targeting specific coordinates

Hi, I’ve got like 10 hours in to no man sky(amazing, so fun on the switch2)
Wondering if finding a new fighter or building one is better. I have the parts for the look I want and I currently have one I’m using that I could upgrade but before I spent the nanites, I wanted to ask.

Finding one will be more of a luck thing to get one that you like and thats good, building one would require more time and resources because you have to salvage ship to get the parts that you like to put together a ship

And each ship you can only get one part from it

If you have the time and resources, try and build one

If you want to test your luck, go around different system and see if you can get lucky

You must warp to the system to trigger a freighter battle, which would mean you'd first need to warp away from the system, which you can safely do by warping to an uncharted system or warping away using your current freighter. Make a restore point before warping so you can reload it if the class is undesirable

There a rare type of system that will always have the pirate dreadnought battle and bypass the 3 hr cd and 5 warps

When I did my run for S class dreadnought I made a restore point in a space station next door to the outlaw system. Then I warped to outlaw system which triggered the battle and disabled the pirate dreadnought into surrender. I then boarded the dreadnought and checked the class with my scanner. If it wasn't S class I reloaded my restore point and did it again. Took me about an hour or so to get S class. Some ppl have been quicker and a lot have been slower.
