There are two in my area I've found so far just look at the tab it will say gas giant on it

They get a bit stormy and the gravity is high, so dont expect to jump, expect massive storms partical tornados

Know that if you don't have access to purple star systems, you won't be able to reach them

If you do, they aren't too uncommon on the galaxy map, just look for the "Gas Giant" tag on purple star systems

That system is used to start the pirate freighter fight after 5 warp with a fixed 3 hour CD, there are videos on how to do it and you have to reload it until it gives you the S version

In the next system, you will make a boarding save(go space station, leave ship and game automatic create save)go to your ship, and with this, If you jump into this system and enter the fight, you will shoot the pirate ship, then you will see if this ship is S. For fighters? If you find a star system that has ships with them, they can be found as crash sites and found being flown and landed by lifeforms

Each system has between 3-7 fighter designs depending if it is Vy'keen or not, less if it's an Outlaw System sometimes due to them being replaced with Solar in those rarely

You get your first living frigate by having a Dream Aerial in your inventory and pulsing, the Dream Aerial's blueprint is earned from frigate expeditions rarely, or you can ask another player for one

Living Frigates after your first one are found by using an Anomaly Detector and pulsing for a long time, ignoring all the events until you get "Whalesong Detected"

Anomaly Detectors are an occasional drop from rare asteroids, which red star systems can sometimes have a lot of I think

I wouldnt say better, but if you want to max a singel stats, maybe you want a high damage weapon, or longer hydrive range, connected SC slot is the best for that

I wouldn't say supercharging different tech is bad, even without sc slot just the tech upgrade provide more than enough stats

All depend on what you want to do

Most people tend to max one type of tech

I like to do things like that, it's definitely optimal imo

You never need enough damage to waste more than 1 or 2 supercharged slots per weapon, and the maneuverability gained from supercharging all pulse engine upgrades doesn't feel much different from only supercharging 1 or 2 things out of that to make it feel essential

No point using all SC slots on weapons when you get into a fight only once every like 2-3 hours, and whether you do or don't supercharge them the fights don't go by much faster

There's no wrong way to do it though, unless you're supercharging something that gives no benefits of course

You might be trying to actively farm pirate dreadnaughts or sentinel capital ships in which 4 SCing weapons can help, they don't have to be anywhere near each other either

I find the sentinel ships using Carrier AI Fragments and hopping between tons of systems, and the UI I made myself in Gimp using fonts and icons extracted from the game

if you want to see sentinel ships on dissonant system you have to use carrier AI fragment and echo locator

carrier AI fragments are one use only but can direct you to a crashed sentinel ship
echo locator can mark a abandoned harmonic camp, that can mark crashed sentinel ships many multiple times, just dont forget to put down save beacon, so after you get the ship you can go back to the harmonic camp and locate another ship again

Incorrect, you can find sentinel ships just by looking around, AI Frag and Echo Locator just make it easier by helping to locate them

Either use the standard methods to locate any sentinel ship (all crashed sentinel ships in the same system will have the same design), or follow latitude+longitude coordinates to a crash site if the post specified any.

Or follow any player base markers or communications stations in case any other players marked any crash sites

Ok how do people find so many crashed sentinel ships? I have only come across one in my playthrough

If you use sentinel AI fragments (gained from defeating level 5 space sentinels) you’ll get the location of a sentinel ship
You can all use an echo locator (20% chance to get when destroying the drills on dissonant planets) which will locate a camp that can in turn locate a near infinite amount of sentinel ships on that planet

Some people spend hours hunting for sentinels, I spent over 10 hours one week doing that

The large dissonant/corrupted tanky ground units also have a chance to drop the echo locator for a camp.
I will try for an echo locator by taking down one of the 'drilling' units, but if you fight the reinforcements till you finish level 5, at the end you get a signal for a sentinel ship crash site.

the way I've seen it done on the youtube is two players meet somewhere, one player sells their ship to an alien, the other player buys it from the alien

probably would be easier if you used crashed ships
