There are very few benefits to having an S-Class freighter over a B or A class

Especially compared to not having a freighter at all

You can transfer most aspects of it to your next freighter if you desire more

Find and destroy Dissonance Resonators until one gives you an Echo Locator, which can be used to locate a Harmonic Camp, which are the places you can use to locate Dissonance Spikes aka Sentinel Interceptor crash sites

They used to be called dreadnoughts, hence why AI pulled the image for it from the web

For farming the right class you need a way to trigger the encounter in given system repeatedly by warping in

Having a base in neighbouring systems helps but it's not mandatory

Yes, also when warping to a new system, the game will make an auto restore point so u can just use that when farming freighters

Automatic saves get overwritten pretty quickly

And the dreadnought fight takes a couple of minutes at least

Ive used the auto reload to farm a certain type of a freighter, personally it works fine

Ironically they are fine with people going around acquiring their crashed interceptors though.

They should implement gaining a sentinel interceptor into the game. Instead of buying it, you would need to go and salvage components to be able to use it, similar to how you gain interceptors. Interceptors are initially unresponsive until you install a harmonic brain

I've had the idea for the last while of Sentinel Interceptors being put into the regular ship pool and landing at places rarely, but nobody seemingly gets out of them unless you scan using your Scan Harmonizer to reveal an Autophage unit who pilots it

Would be a neat way to both show Sentinel Interceptors up close early on and introduce Autophage to more general parts of the game like how they did with giving them their own settlements

The Autophage seem to be interested in Sentinel technology. Their camps can locate interceptors after all, so if they implement sentinel capital ships being available to the player to command, they should implement a way to recruit Autophage to work it as crew

Yeah, Autophage units are presumably the mysterious entities that attempt to refit sentinel ships for sentient pilot use before you do, which also may be why the ships can have wackier color schemes than orange n white

Since they're also the ones making them crash in the first place lol, infinite ship exploit

Yes, not purchase but rather hijack a Sentinel Capital ship would make a much more interesting spin on acquiring it. With Autophage manning them, all the customisable freighter rooms could all be Autophage themed when you retrofit

That’s for your first Living Frigate(the things you can send out on expeditions) after your first it’s anomaly detectors(every system has only one, so if you want another one you meed to warp to another system until you see Whalesong detected with the anomaly detector)

The "tiers" is just how long they are. In very old versions it used to affect cargo capacity but it has not done that for a long time

locate a portal, after you entered the system got to a dissonant planet, if you have a carrier AI fragment or if you have echo locator much better

By destroying Dissonance Resonators, which are found on dissonant worlds using your Analysis Visor, 1 in 5 if them will drop an Echo Locator

You can walk up to them and point your crosshair at them to see what they will drop, to avoid unnecessary combat

i was experimenting a freighter battle, now the first freighter battle was a pirate dreadnaught vs venator, then i restore reload, warp to a different system, then i saw a pirate dreadnaught vs sentinel freighter with 3 rows of cargo, then restore reload again, jump to a different system, then i saw a system freighter battle it's a sentinel freighter from earlier with the 3 rows of cargo, then restore reload, jump on a different system, then there's the venator again from earlier, and every time i jump to a different system it's either the venator from earlier of the sentinel freighter earlier with 3 rows of cargo, now i was thinking to finish this battle and trigger another battle, will the freighter change, or will be the same as a venator or a sentinel freighter with 3 rows of cargo 🤔

The capital freighter you see is dependent on the system that you warp to, if you warp to the same system and cause a battle there then you will always see the exact same capital freighter

Seeing the "same one over and over" isn't a thing, they are different ones with coincidentally similar designs (or you are warping to the same system over and over)

Core stats are not affected by starting class.

Higher class has higher core stats for any specific ship. All ships C through A will upgrade to the same core stats. The only wildcard is S class can spawn higher or lower than the other classes of the same ship.

It’s usually the same, but not always.

The way I hunt ships is I find one I like and then I’ll search every location until I find one with a 3+1 or 4 layout. The SC layout is the only important part for me. I have a nanite farm that I can make 600k per hour

what i do is jumping from pirate system to system and buying this things, open them and sell

Each crash site has a predestined class and initial supercharged slot layout that can't be manipulated, you would have to seek different crash sites to change your chances of finding an S-Class (doing so in higher tier economy star systems is also a good idea), or make enough Nanites to upgrade a ship's class

go to a portal and enter this glyphs, go to my base

then fly on a planet above you i have put down a save beacon in there (edited, i tried flying around the system and still gets the giant void egg that contains modules for the living ship)

you should get this giant void egg while flying

then fly back to my base, land, jump out of your ship, reload restore point

then repeat, you should be able to complete your upgrades 🙂 😆

Eulid is one of over 250 Galaxies each with over 4Billion Stars there are 18Quadrillian Stars in total

If 5 people explored them all it would take 4.5million years

thats why everyone shares what they have found via gate addresses

As most of my ships it's in Hilbert, just save one of the pictures which has the co ordinates and you can pick it up when you can get into Hilbert and locate a Hilbert portal
