I’m trying to find a more sleek sentinel ship that is S class and has generally better stats than my current one
I found a sentinel ship after destroying the sentinel freighter but it was C class
I saw someone say you could find the same ship with different classes on the same planet if you looked but I haven’t found anything yet

Is there anyway to like speed up this process of searching?

Not really. You have to go through the process of using the harmonic camp, or ai fragments to find each crashed location on a dissonant planet.

You need an echo locator to find a harmonic camp. Once you have access to the camp, you can keep finding multiple crash locations for free.

Random? If you mean, it finds one at random then yes. You can activate multiple echo locators and it will find different camps on the same world. Though, that doesn't better your chances at finding better class of ship.

Once you unlock one crashed ship and collect it, you return to the camp and go through the same sequence of finding a dissonance spike. Just make sure to leave a SAVE beacon at the camp, otherwise you'll not find your way back!

Yep, keep returning after each ship acquisition and just repeat the process of entering the three glyph sequence to find the next location. 🙂

There's two ways that I know of:

• Kill dissonance resonators found on dissonant planets, until you get an echo locator. Use the echo locator to reveal the location of a harmonic camp. At the camp, scan for a dissonant spike. That will reveal the location of a sentinel interceptor.
• Kill corrupted sentinels found on dissonant planets until you beat level 5. That will reveal the location of a sentinel interceptor.

Check if the system its in a purple one and you don’t have the hyperdrive for it you can’t get it

Or it may be in another galaxy

You have to get to the lattitude and longitude listed to get to that exact crash site, also make sure that you are in the correct galaxy

You can see lattitude and longitude on one of your ship's interior screens, and follow the compass' N/S/E/W indicators while flying into space to go faster

I did that exactly but my ship can’t land in the destination at all because it’s a mountain and super deep so if you manage to find a landing site even with a good exocraft it’ll slide down and mess up your progrsss of getting to your destination

I think the portal system doesn't like a region star number of 0, but there is a star 0 so you can find it on the map and go there, but you can't portal directly there, it will pretend as if it doesn't exist like any other invalid address and place you nearby

If you use a probability calculator and plug in a 5% probability:

1 try = 5%
5 tries = 22%
10 tries = 40%
20 tries = 64%
40 tries = 87%
60 tries = 95%
100 tries = 99%

So even after 100 tries, it's technically possible to still not get the S rank within the outlaw system. But the chances of that happening would be insanely low

in terms of the number of engines, imo, i would say yes...as they don't occur very often. if you look at the thousands of interceptors that are posted, only a fraction of them have 13 thrusters - in fact, the person posting usually makes a point of the 13 thrusters! 😉

In addition to what has already been said above 👆 I would add, use the ship that best suits the kind of play you enjoy. For instance, if you like blowing stuff up, killing sentinels, dog-fighting pirates, etc. you probably want to lean more to fighters or interceptors. Fighters have good turning capability, while interceptors are fast (hence the name, they "intercept"). If you like to trade, find a hauler because of the largest inventory space...that sort of thing...hope that makes sense.

@golden pivot I found a system controlled by pirates which has tons of Solar Vessels. I landed on the station and acquired the grey/blue squid ship and an S-Class Solar Ship

@golden pivot head to these coordinates. You can either find it crashed on a planet or simply land on the pirate station. It should land just after you and you and acquire it

The only ways to get it now would be:

1. Wait for HG to rerun the expedition (unlikely and/or would be a long time until they do so)
2. Get the ship from somebody who has an extra one (ask in #nms-lfg-or-trades)
3. Use the community-made service bot's Expedition Reward Unlocker (https://nomansapp.com/)
4. Use mods that enable you to buy it for quicksilver (PC) (https://www.nexusmods.com/nomanssky/mods/2062)
5. Or use a save editor to add them to your "unlocked season rewards" (PC)

Their ship follows the standard limits for 3 upgrade modules of each type

The other modules are blueprint technology, which do not count towards that limit

Upgrade modules are the plug-and-play modules that work out of the box, that you usually buy from Space Stations using nanites
Blueprint tech is built using materials and of course a blueprint

Mine might be a bit easier to read as all the upgrade modules I have are "X-Class" or so-called illegal modules

They're figurines that you can purchase from the Quicksilver Synthesis Companion aboard the Space Anomaly, only one will display at a time but each of them have a small bonus that they give. The polo, artemis and squid figurines share adjacency with all of the starship trails, putting them in a configuration like this increases maneuverability quite considerably

Though only one starship trail will display too, the one with the highest priority is the Chromatic Trail (rainbow)

The Polo Figurine has the highest priority out of the figurines (or the squid one if you completed Expedition 15: Aquarius)

Now that the 2024 expeditions are over is the only way possible for to get the boundry herald through trying to trade? The two ships I want most are that and the iron vulture but mainly the boundry herald.

or is there some other way I can aquire the boundry herald that doesnt involve using the costumiser bot because I dont really want to use that method. Feels a little bit like cheating in the same way duplicating resources does

Either you're trying to portal to places in a different galaxy and those coordinates don't exist in your current galaxy, or the places you're trying to reach are in purple systems and you need to complete In Stellar Multitudes to access them

look into system you've visit and hope that you landed on the planet you found that ship on. That's how i found one ive lost

Go through the discovery menu to look at dissonant planets you've been to, if you went there recently then you should be able to properly select the world and add it to your personal wonders (which then shows it's glactic coordinates in the form of glyphs)

Yeah S class dreadnoughts are random. I had the worst luck. Took me 2 weeks to get a S class dreadnought. I wanted a Kovax one but ended up with a Gek captain and crew but oh well
