I got a tip if you looking for pirate dreadnoughts, look for systems with 3 star conflict or pirate controlled and just keep jumping between them until you get a battle, happens every 3 jumps or so

At the Coordinates shown in my scanner visor on that same planet. I found an Interceptor. Class C.

Killing those tripod things with that tall purple thing on their backs or tops. Not important, but I digress. You get a chance at getting some of these things.

Using those things, you get pointed to a camp. There, you solve a mathematical problem using those Stargate glyphs

Once properly solved, in my case, I got me winged backpack and a multitool. AND the good part, is that you get pointed to the location of your shiny new Interceptor ship.

The "coords" are just another way of writing the Glyph Address in an Alpha and Numeric form as keyboards dont come with the Glyph Symbols on. The "coords" posted are the Galactic Address, not the coordinates on the planet surface.

Each dissonance system has its own type of ship. Just warp from one to another. Till u find one u like, spend hours going back and forth from Harmonic camp until you get an S class. It's a bit of a pain tbh

What are you doing? You manually save before using the locator, go to the camp, then locate the ship, and then revert to a save? Can you revert that far back?

If you can find these, and blast them down with your ships guns, you'll get a chance of getting Echo Locator. It will show you to a encampment where much like the monoliths that point you to the Stargates, it will have some math questions for you. Solve that math. Once you solved that math, you'll get a Multitool unlock as well as getting the location to a crashed Interceptor.

The thing that is holding me back, I'm going to planets, and the known locations of those drillers and they're not there.

get out of your ship when you want to create a save point, go in your ship, use the locator, fly to the location, land BUT DO NOT get out of the ship

use camera mod to look around, if you don't like the model, reload the latest save point, not auto save

if you like the model but you want to keep the locator, go in 1rst person, look at the coord in your ship, write them down, reload the save and go here, you'll find the ship and keep the locator

Quick way : getting out of the ship cause a save point, by knowing this you're free to alter the flow of time as much as you want

OK< guys need some advice/information. I have too many ships and want to get rid of some to 1) make room for all 5 expedition ships and 2) keep one slot open This means I can no longer afford the luxury of having one of each type.

So the question is, which ships are the most similar to each other. Obviously I would like to keep all 5 Expedition ships. Are there other ships (e.g. Explorer, Fighter, Hauler) that are similar to one ofExpedition ships such that it is redundant? What about the new ship types: Living ships, Solar Ships, and the Dissonant ship?

Any good site that provides comparison between ships?

Oooh. I was just going through this myself. So I just have 1 expedition (new one. But waiting for the Starborn)

1 hauler (first S class. Found as a wreck. My “typical” ship. Set up like an explorer.)
Solar S class (infra knife go brrr. Set up as my “go hunt fleets”)
alpha radiant fighter (s class)
Sentinel x wing ( soon to be S clsss. My dread hunter)
Then ships cuz they look cool. Squid. Two other sentinels. Living ship.

So that allows one slot for future Starborn and another slot for picking up ships to scrap

But I say go with what you like. Unless you’re a crazy role player like me

Otherwise as usual an autocharger for the launch thruster equivalent is very useful, which any S tier living ship upgrade for that system will have

You can play with others from any game mode except for permadeath and people on an expedition, they have their own player pools

You get other ships by:
buying them from npcs, salvaging crashed ships (early game)

building them from parts you got by scrapping ships, doing the Starbirth quest after buying a void egg for a living ship, or salvaging an interceptor on a dissonant world (later game)

Yeah it's through a Portal, you gotta locate the ancient site, I think you could buy a cartography chart of an ancient site, locate it that way and once you are there, you need to activate each glyph with their respective materials (If its a new portal that is heh), once that is done you just gotta input the glyphs in, go through, locate the platet with the "Dissonance Spikes" and either locate a harmonic camp or the ship itself with the Echo locator or the Carrier AI Fragment

Orange and White. The planet is okayish, but the weather is horrible. So be careful!

White and Gray if my Cones n' Rods are working well for me. Be advised, this place has unforgiving mountains that are an absolute nightmare to traverse and negotiate with.

White and Yellow, easy terrain. But still use common sense!

Red and Black little Interceptor, terrain is a bit weird, but you should be okay.

This one is green all over, terrain is okay, might be a lot of ocean all around if I remember correctly, so bring one of those locator things if you got one.

Red and Black, nice looking, but bring some nice, warm stuff to keep you nice and warm.

Black, and I think gray, the terrain is a bit rough, but do-able.

Photo mode GIVES you the glyphs.

You just need to use a Exocraft to help sniff you out a monolith, which in turn, given you did the puzzle correctly in the Monolith will point you to the Stargate. Once at the gate, you should build a base there with a portal for quick access.

This way, when you want that ship, and you got the glyphs, you'll have a quick and easy way there.

2. Finding traveller graves (takes longer)

Depends on how you found it

The system you found the ship in has a economy rating. If it’s 3 stars, you have a 2% chance to find a S class ship. 2 star system 1%, 1 star system, 0%. Pirate system, 5%.

Generally speaking though I’d say taking a C class ship all the way up to S is not worth it. The stats will be worse, and you will be sinking tens of thousands of nanites into the ship @ruby thorn

If you are determined to get a S class interceptor, AND you don’t care how it looks, go to a pirate dissonant system

Ya! If you go back to that camp, you can locate another ship. But you must first either claim the ship from that quest or abandon that quest in order to locate another one via the computer

I drop a base computer at the location, and then search go back and forth until I find the class I’m looking for

This is important though. If you are in a 1 star system, even finding an A class ship could take some time

Looks. Simply put, just looks. Everything else can be updated, apart from class, but that matters very little - supercharged slots are kind of meh for freighters. And an A-class is relatively straightforward to farm if you only visit 3-star Econ systems

There are some really cool looking system freighters out there, ngl.

Ah! Get 4-5 of everything then tune from there. Aim for C-class starts. Once they hit S-class, they’re basically indestructible when their stars outclass mission demands. I’m shifting more to support ships to keep fuel costs down at that point, and they’re generalists, so a few S-class can do anything, really.

It might sound like a long process but its actually not that complicate, Plague here did already share ya all of the details on how to get to it but yeah, You need to find a protal in the world, you can do that through the cartography traders and picking a few ancient structure / site ones, going through t he portal which you gotta activate, and technically... You can skip the phases of killing and such cuz in that planet there is a base as previously mentioned which said "S Class White Interceptor" Which you can go to, and it should be there

This one is black and yellow, the planet has horrible storms, but, you are able to travel it easily as the terrain isn't that bad.

A red and White one, You might will need to excavate this one out of the rock wall as the face was buried in the rock wall.

A green and yellow one, had to take a 3rd picture of it so that you can get a good look at the face of it.

There's only 1 ship design per planet. If it's not at the coords for whatever reason (sometimes because the coords are old) just use a locator

These point you to an encampment that has a console for you to solve mathematical problems on it, And THEN it will point you to a ship.

And it will even let you get a multi-tool.

If not, you'll need to kill things. Let me go grab a screenshot of what they look like.

Note, the twig/hand looking thing on the compass. You'll see that, and you'll know that it is them. They'll drop tons of mirrors. But, keep at it, they'll drop the locator thing. And once you got the locator, it's just a stepping stone to being pointed to a ship.

Each planet, has one ship.

Just search for those things that you need to kill, once you got the thing from them, it will guide you the rest of the way.

Now use that, it'll point you to the camp first, then you'll find a computer where you'll want to check the logs first, Do the math, and then when you're inputting the solution, it's going to be glyphs.

I suggest watching a video on this, so that you can see for yourself exactly how its done.

You'll be given math problems like this, yours will be different, they're different all the time, if you need to get some scratch paper, then do it.

When you go to Number 1 when you solved the math, you'll be greeted with this screen.

You'll see those three boxes.

That is where you put the glyphs.

When you click on a box, this other box will come up.

You select the appropriate glyph that is numbered from this. There are two pages, there are 16 total glyphs.

The order of what you put them in doesn't matter, what matters, is that you plug in all three numbers that you got using the corresponding glyph.

Once you solved the thing with the glyphs, you'll be able to be taken to this screen, 1, will unlock a multitool, if you want it, get it.

2. Will point you to the ship.

The multitool is to the left in a case just like what you see in the stations. It's usually a nice looking awesome rifle, or a Dewalt Weed Wacker that doesn't have its weed wacker attachment installed.

Also, don't forget to loot these wheelbarrows. They might have some nice upgrades for your tech, ship, and your exosuit and such.

Going to have to pardon the storm, but there is a wheelbarrow in that direction.

The ship that you see, is the only ship that you'll get on that planet. Though I heard that (Moderator or higher expert, please correct me) That it is the class (C, B, A, S.) that might differ.

B class, not the worse, can be upgraded for lots of Nanites. Unless you're playing Creative, then ya shouldn't really care.

Go to warp and the galaxy and find the Dessonant systems and find the planet. IT's a lot easier if you have a Freighter to serve as your mother ship, because then, you'll be able to have a planetary scanner room in there and it will help you sniff out which planet is the one to go to.

And I have been sniffing out a lot of those systems.

The ones with the 3 dots, stay away from them. I had a 2 for 2 with bad luck of a case of: "Sorry Mario, your desired ship, is in another system." sort of a thing.

This ship is one that I found by locating the system and the planet, and killing those mobs, and using the locator and doing that math puzzle thing, and yeah.

I have been using the holy moly out of it.

There is the glyphs if you want to get one for yourself.

This is the kind of planet that you want to go to.

IF you look at this one, you'll see a prime example of what you want to go to. In most cases, it will be the best choice for you to go to. From what I also understand, is that Pirate systems are normally a hit or miss depending upon what they have in their system.

This type of system that just has the 3 dots instead of the icons that you see in the first one, stay away from those. It was those where I had a 2 for 2. Luckily, it doesn't eat up those locators.

Though, I can't teach you everything, classroom time can only do so much. Experience, that's the best kind of teacher.

This is how you know, that you're not in a system with a ship.

Also, if you're interceptor hunting like how I am, it would be great to keep tabs on which planet you are getting those Echo Locators from the most.

Because you'll burn through them.

Trying to look for that perfect ship.

Sorry abou tthe late reply mate, Yeah the "Dissonance Spikes" are basically the sentinel crashed ships, and to get them you need 1 out of 3 ways, 1 Easiest way which is destroying the Dissonance Deflectors (The little banners of the corrupted sentinels) and using the Echo Locator which has a change of dropping when you destroy them, 2 Defeating a whole wave of Corrupted sentinel drones to locate a sentinel ship and lastly 3 Defeating a whole wave of Interceptor ships to get an AI Fragment Carrier to locate a ship as well, if ya got any further questions just lemme know, I'll try to help as much as I can ^^

I don't believe gold is part of the Sentinel ships colors unfortunately, unless we are speaking about the Golden vector heh, so the closes you could possibly get to it would be a White with Black and Yellow decorations
