The biggest factor in determining a ships price is the amount of cargo slots it has…solars have some of the lowest initial cargo slots

Some C class haulers can go for over 60m

only 1 in 20 inhabited systems will spawn one
And chance of spawning any exotic type in a suitable system is 1 in 300

Sentinels fuel can be just harvested from dissonant planets and it probably has bigger inventory then that squid so for now it might be better to stick with it and keep the squid for later

Some systems used to and probably still do, get a double exotic 1st wave spawn

plus in any system, there is potentially at least 1 exotic crash site, its just a case of finding it, which can be a long process too, but once found you can go back anytime

Warp in and out of pirate systems until you trigger one once you’ve trigged it you need to destroy the engines first forget about everything else once you’ve got the engines follow the directions to destroy it or if you’ve already done it do it after the battle it will surrender after that broad and seise it (it’s free also)

It's more of an opinion thing. You can absolutely go for the min/max idea and pick whatever ship has the best stats and supercharged slots. But I just fly whatever looks cool and feels right at the time.

I apologize if this is the wrong channel to post this in but I am searching for a certain type of ship I have only seen twice in the sky box while playing, and both times I failed to grab a decent screenshot. But the ship was very large, slow moving (so frigate or freighter?), sleekly designed, and also primarily vertical. It was really stunning cutting through the sky. It's probably unhelpful but I got a screenshot on accident using a waypoint to see the top of the ship (on the left). Going through the wiki, I am trying to find what sort of ship this must be?

Those are frigates, you can find them around system cargos or after a spacefight. You need a Cargo to own up to 30 of them, each look correspond a Race and Specialisation

ex. Korvax are usualy explorer and looks like the one on the top of the pic

that is a trade galleon frigate

you cant fly them yourself but you can add them to your freighter fleet and send them out on missions
