Every ship has a guaranteed exotic s class your best bet might be looking around trade posts or space stations also there's crashed one too

Basically if you can get economy scanner look for booming or opulent on the planet

Are there tips for finding sentinel ships? If I find a design I like, what's the likelihood to find it as an S-class with 4-square supercharged slots at some site? Is the appearance of sentinel ships classes the same for spawning other ships, e.g. fighter?

The changes are small. Iirc there might be only 1 design per world, so you could keep running the mission over and over until you get an S-class with 4 supercharge slots (this relies on me being right, which is like a 50-50 chance). There are also some YouTube videos that have exact coords + Glyphs that lead you to an S Class with 4 SC slots, that showcase the designs for you

the waves do take a bit sometimes, but they also often can get stuck and require a reload.

My suggestion is to use a planetary archives, or Trade post for ship hunting

2. Make sure the post was made recently, the older the post the more likely it is some of the updates changed how ships spawn on the space station

And the exotic might not be available as 1st wave spawn anymore

The good thing on interceptors, they never come with broken slots to fix

Do note T2 economy will make S class a bit more difficult.
An A class freighter is more than enough though, since you can put everything in it and have little stat diff to an S class (and one less slot) - i still rock my A class dread on the current save no intention of grinding for an S either

Certain ship types can be more rare to spawn, like exotics.
Your Solar ship there is a rare spawn in normal systems, but very common in outlaw systems

You can hunt for ship parts and stations combinations for best ships to fabricate, much like staves.

Or you can keep ship hunting and finding naturally spawned ships.
Exotics shuttles and interceptors still cannot be fabricated either

I mean when I'm freighter hunting. I load a save and warp to the system I want. The fastest way is probably going to be by leaving my ship and creating a save on a frigates landing pad? So there's minimal time before I can warp after loading.

oh, after the battle, i dock on the frieghter, and use the scanner to check the class of it, if it is not what I wanted, I just reload autosave, and redo the battle. it will reroll the ship

can do that 5 or more times, eventually stops working, and the battle won't be there anymore

sometimes can do like 10+ times, if you get a hot streak

Let's start with the fact that there is no in game ship trading system.

Method used for that works only for unique ships, like golden vector, an expedition reward.

But you don't need glyphs to meet with other players

You can use bases featured on the space anomaly or just exchange friend codes

i use 3 for infra knife, which melts everything with 75k dps
and the other slot i use for maneuverability (1.2k points in maneuverability )

4sc is for min maxing specific stats

Multitool with 4 sc tight together makes more sense than a starship imo

yeah, that is good, can link 3 of the slots onto 1 system, and get a good boost out of it. if you like the look and feel of the ship, (or have oodles of nanites to spare, take it to S class and see where the 4th slot is)

but even if it is seperated, 3 slots that can link together is perfectly fine for a main ship. will still be overkill on a weapons platform in combat. only need 4 linking slots if you are a min/maxer really

Do people just take all the desired tech off their current ship and install it on the new ship, or do you go and buy all the upgrades again from the vendor(s)? Cant say I've ever checked a station on list, pre or post update

All I can do is check when I get home from work, unless a mod or emissary or someone can check 1st

yea so i hatched the egg and it gave me coordinates on a planet to a living ship. i reloaded the last save point, so now i know this works i just have to hatch the egg at a system using the desired glyphs?
