mmm only if you enter system with multiplayer off. You have to get there via portal (like a stargate) The portal (stargate) address is the Glyphs in the bottom left corner. You have to unlock Portal Glyphs, find a portal and travel to system. Then travel to coordinates on planet.

Only with MP off as Ive just taken it and Im not sure if i had mp off or on

How does exactly looking for ships at trading stations work? Like, if im seeing the same few ships over and over again do i reload the save? Or do i go out the system and back in? (very new to this 🙏 )

reload works, but remember, there is a maximum of 21 designs per system, so after a point you will have seen them all

basically yes, depending on ship, if its not an exotic, Id suggest checking portal address and galaxy is correct. If its an exotic, it can be literally hours as they have a less than 1% chance to spawn

it's normal to see a few similar, since the amount of ships in the pool is limited.
I would not do reloads unless your system reloads very fast.
It might be best to also wait for second and third waves, or otherwise go to planet and avoid the waves

but that is in sum, what ship hunting entails

it might be easier to fabricate 1 as an s class, but that means you have to scrap 3 explorers with the parts you want, and buying an s class reactor

or buy an A/b/c class ship and upgrade it to S class

Go to 3 star wealthy systems, land at space station hop in and out of your ship, reload save point. Wait for waves of ships to come land. Up to about 7 waves and if you don't like any of the ships reload again. Best to have multi-player toggled off in network settings

Or 2% higher chance in pirate systems

Instead of space station option, you could go to planet trade buildings @elder phoenix

Well, I really enjoy Sentinel ships & they're pretty easy to get
You'll want to find a dissonant system in the galaxy map, warp there, and find the dissonant planet in that system.
Enter the atmosphere, fly around a bit, and find some of these guys

Kill them and you may get an Echo Locator. those will take you to a camp with a simple puzzle at a terminal. Do it and you'll get a new multi-tool and a new ship

if you try to use the locator and it doesn't work, go to a different dissonant system

To fix a sentinel ship, you have to kill I think two drills to get two inverted mirrors.
Get three of the big chonky purple crystals.
And take the red brain thingy to a place that'll turn the brain blue and take all that back to the ship.

It's honestly less of a pain than fixing a normal ship.

Plus you'll get much more money if you scrap it.

It's all a matter of luck, whether you find a good one or not.

then, you'll need to either kill dissonance resonators and get an echo locator, or kill sentinel capitol ships and get a carrier AI fragment

they both will take you to a ship, the echo locator will just take you to a camp first

Apparently, the dissonance resonators actually show you what they drop before you destroy them. Only destroy the ones that say "echo locator"

Each system has a single style of ship, so I just warp to the next dissonant system if it's got a ship I don't want.
But if I find an A or S class, I scrap them because it's very good money

this S class ship, completely unmodded, is worth 73 mil

I'll prolly get less than that scrapping it, lets see what I get

What type of ship are you looking for

Systems have a pool of pre existing ships that will spawn, so if it's a regular ship then just hang out at space or trade station and wait

That also includes crashed ships, a crashed ship will always be one you can find flying around. You won't have to buy it, but you'll have to fix it up

If it's an interceptor you need to use a Carrier AI Fragment or Echo Locator. First one shows you exactly one crash sight, second one take you to a camp that will show you as many crash sights as you want

If you’re hunting for them yourself then familiarize with how ships spawn, but if you like the ships you see in this channel I would recommend getting all the glyphs, they’re incredibly useful in their own right

The consumable "Echo Locator" will reveal the position of a crashed Sentinel Interceptor for the taking

Echo Locator can find an Autophage camp, from the camp comes the Interceptor

Another option if you’d like to sit and wait for ships is to go to trade outposts, they have 9 landing pads and ships pass through frequently. It’s a good way to see what’s on offer quickly

Is there a variant of the SuperCondor wings for the haulers that aren't tilted?

Because I like the way the large jets look under the wings, but I'd prefer that they weren't tilted forwards

So, there are four ways to find a crashed Interceptor, which is a lot and makes it pretty easy:

1. The worst way: manually. If you have a beefy PC with fast rendering, you can fly around a Dissonant world and look with the MK1 Eyeball. Good luck.

2. Triggering a ground battle with corrupted sentinels on a Dissonant world and defeating all waves will show the nearest Interceptor, if one is there. Note that Interceptors DO NOT spawn on dead worlds.

3. Finding a Harmonic camp and deactivating the lockdown will allow you to pinpoint Interceptors until none are left on that planet. You can find Harmonic camps manually as in 1), or by using an Echo Locator. Echo Locators can be found rarely as salvage from defeated Sentinel bots or more commonly from Dissonance Resonators (big walking shard things). The Resonators can drop either an echo or a mirror, and will be labeled with what the drop when inspected. Harmonic camps do not spawn on dead worlds.

4. Triggering a space battle with sentinels and defeating the capital ship will reward you with an AI item; using it will pinpoint the nearest Interceptor. This may not be on the same planet or even the same system.

Note that all Interceptors in the same system look the same, but class is random each time you find one and is subject to the usual class spawn rules, making 3-star and/or outlaw systems best for farming S-class (if you enjoy the look found in that system). Farming Interceptors for money/nanites is best done in 3-star systems as the higher classes give more in salvage, and the slightly higher chance of S-class in outlaw systems is dragged down by the much higher C-class chance versus B or A. Interceptors make great ships as they have a superior version of the Photon Cannon that has much improved DPS competitive with meta options, they are free (minus some materials found on-planet) and not broken, and easily fueled.

I have less than 40 hours in this game but I love Interceptor farming lol.

Getting an A/S-class Interceptor is easy even for new players (like me) and makes a huge inprovement over starter ships. Farming extras for salvage is a big boost to early game resources as well. Highly recommended.

u can get the void egg from the anomaly for like 3200 quicksilver iirc. first time u use a void egg youll have to do a quest, Starbirth (it has 4 parts that each make u wait like a day in real time after each step, so its gonna take at least 4 days to complete). could probably also ask for a void egg in #nms-lfg-or-trades but if u do the weekend quicksilver missions youll have enough QS for the egg pretty soon.

I'm taking a break to play expedition, but I have found the exotics in start and 1st two RV systems of expedition 14, but not posted as station lights are 💩 and I usually take my photos on freighter where lighting is better. You don't get freighter till like 80% of way through unless you buy a system freighter.
