All good for future reference, when posting discoveries you intend players to find you need to include the following.

Galaxy. This Information can be confirmed top left in the galaxy map, just under the galaxy image, example may be (Euclid) we need this because portals do not take players across galaxies, only within the one the player is in.

Systems glyphs. Glyphs for a planet can be located multiple ways however the easiest and most readily accessible is bottom left in photo mode, those symbols are the unique glyphs address (coordinates) to that planet and system. It’s important you provide the correct glyphs and not guess or take them from another system.

Another way to locate glyphs is via “show glyphs” option when interacting with a portal, or you can add the specific planet you found the discovery on to your wonders, then hover over that discovery and the glyphs will show.

Description. Provide a small description of the ship itself, what ship is it? What are the prominent colours? What are the visible and prominent parts?

Lat/long coordinates, these are only required if you want to share a specific crash site details specific to the crash site include class, stats, initial supercharge slots, for some ships it’s important to include this information as the ship model will likely not be the same at another site or that the player is not guaranteed to be taken to that site. You can primarily find lat/long coordinates either bottom left on a computer panel in your ship’s cockpit or top right while using the analysis visor.

If you are unsure if lat/long coordinates are required then definitely include them, better to give all the information than assume it’s it important or required.

Portals allow the player to input 12 of 16 symbols know as glyphs, glyphs act as the coordinates system for a galaxy, allowing the player to travel to specific planets from any portal in that galaxy.

Portals just can’t allow the player travel to another galaxy.

But they can allow the player to get to a system that is close to the galaxy core 😉

You would still need to employ whatever strategy is required to locate that discovery, portals will just take you into the target planet not the exact location

So no they won’t take you to an exact location down to the exact lat/long

For interceptors you can also use Dreadnought AI fragments they take you to a direct crash site as apposed to a camp

I have to believe that freighters with good supercharger slot arrangements are rare, because of how freighters are obtained.
would you throw out aesthetic considerations if you found one with three superchargers arranged in an L ?

My freighter has 3 disconnected SC on hyperdrive and can warp 5k LY. Tbh other then being a big number it doesn't change much
Other uses for SC on freighter would be for other types of modules but where would you allocate them? Expedition speed? You can send 5 expeditions per day, with upgrades even longest expedition will take only couple hours and no matter how fast they finish you still have only 5 per day
Improving stat bonuses also doesn't give you much of an advantage
In short I don't see SC on freighter being important at all

Pretty much just be patient, if you have your ship on a landing pad take it off so you get 1 more ship to land.

When you post a cool find, be that a ship or a Multitool, if that picture includes glyphs you will also need to include

1. Galaxy, there are 256 galaxies so there would be 256 possible locations for this ship
2. A description for the ship, otherwise if someone is looking for a ship like this and they search “White Interceptor” this won’t show up

Play the game as usual, create a save point every time before you warp, if you spawn a dreadnought, make it surrender, board it, check its with your visor and if its not S reload they save point

If your 3h and 5 warps are done any warp from that point will spawn freighter space rescue encounter and if you warp to hight conflict system you will spawn a dreadnought

If its not one of the class you want, reload restore point again

If you warp to different system then the one that spawned the first event and you got no event, that means 3h and 5 warps are not done yet and the system where you warped for the first time might be special, special in a sense that it will spawn a space rescue every time u enter

You need to get the event to fight it (so 3 hours playing and 5 warps, like the others, and warp to a pirate system for better S class chances), then after you do enough dmg it will give you the option to either board it and claim the ship or destroy

It is easyer to just go for the warp engines then the shield generators and the thingys that show up after you blow them, once you do all of those, the freighter will surrender

I would just build a base in a neighbouring system and when time comes for the space rescue mission just teleport to that base and warp to the target system

just warp from pirate systems to pirate systems, 5 warp and 3h+ to make a battle spawn, you need to destroy the engines, shield generator and the main cannon for it to surrender, if you want you can keep the ship or destroy is, landing inside the freighter will not save so you can check the class, reload and repeat if you look for a specific class

mine is around 4 wihout the S class mods

Can anyone confirm that S class pirate dreadnaughts have 5 hyperdrives rather than 4? I've seen several S classes online that had 5. Could be a much easier way to determine if it's an S class or not if so.

If you mean supercharged slots then NO
S class will only have 4 slots
