like they are crashed on the ground, you need to gather 3 radiant shards and 1 dissonant mirror then flip their brain to a usable device to replace the pilot for you, but you need to get to know the game a little to get there, not very long though

it will be the same interceptor ship design on the whole planet, either you use an AI fragment to locate it, or kill 5 waves of corrupted sentinels to locate a camp, or use an echo locator to locate a camp, in the camp there will be a terminal, it will allow you to scan as many as you want for crashed sites on that planet

you can use filters with this channel filter + image filter and check them out, can also add maybe purple in your search

for sentinel ships, if there is no coordinates, we aint found an A or an S, the ship design will be the same on all the system planets (assuming more than one is dissonant) and you can try your luck at finding one using dissonant camps terminals for infinite scans of crashed sites (scan a crash site on terminal, scan it on site, take it or not its your pick, repeat until satisfied) dont forget to mark the camp with save beacon or base computer*

does anybody know if ships can come in in a pure red and black form? every single ship I see online, except for 1 or 2 has a Red and Chrome scheme, which tricks me into spending 10 minutes going to the galaxy, and seeing that the quote on quote "black" the post and picture saying it was is actually a super reflective excuse for black that looks pure white at cerain lighting angles. Is it just super rare for that to happen, or is chrome just kinda what black is in this game?

the black color on sentinels if not part of the skirts and wings and head pieces are not black, its purple, and the black on those mentioned pieces is not black under white lighting, its greenish black

so depending on the lighting around you (time of the day, storms, biomes variations anbd space environment vs planet one), it will be having a large variation of reflective colors

There is no pure black ships, the nearest is sentinels which have a purple or green tinge under bright light. Solars nearest to black is a dark grey, and fighters etc nearest is a dark chrome as you have mentioned.

the only advantage I see is you already know where the SC slots are on a natural ''S'' but, if not in permadeath mode, save/create a restore point, activate free purchase and check them out too before reloading your game and not waste the nanites if it was not what you wanted

I dont in general warp very far between systems looking for ships, so range isn't really important to me over say 500ly

All depends, biggest advantage of a freighter is not efficiency or range (which are of course great to have) but quick access to very handy tools like planetary probe, you just pop into a system, check all the planets at one press of a button and if there is nothing interesting there you just go to another system

Nearest you get is dark grey with solars, as for class, only crashed versions are a guarenteed class, all others are rng. Solars are mainly in outlaw systems with the best chance of S class.

Personally I ended up knowing it, as I have a problem with the brain with the color blue ( I like it too much ), has strength to look for this ship a long time ago in full blue, I finally understood that it is not all the systems that had it, that said, I noticed that ( for the moment, tell me the opposite if you know it ) the stations Outlaws, still have solar (it would be fairer to say that among a thousand station outlaws, I had always had solar ships )

I knew each system had 21 models, I just figured 1 had to be solar, but I think its more a chance of being solar, rather than a definite thing

Outlaw systems have more, as they can "take" place of some of models of other classes, except exotic

Yer there is a mistake on that graphic, its minor so doesnt make much difference, exotic chance in Outlaw is 0.33% instead of stated 0.29%, but its such a minor difference it doesnt matter

Nmsge simplified it heavily by ignoring correct colors, possible texture modes, decals, etc.
This customizer uses the whole actual game data to show EVERY possibility. It's the nature of the game it's so complicated. But why hide something just to simplify ?
