I saw a video where they said that the exotic is always visible when that happens. and after the event I go to the freighter, talk to the captain, and go straight to the space station, and it's got a pretty good chance of landing

I seem to recall someone asked something similar to that, and a reply that came up was that, for pvp at least, standard fighters have enough maneuverability to outperform interceptors, and I will admit that when I use my interceptor for space battles, I really wish I had more of that

I wanted to double check things and went back to this image posted a few days ago, in short interceptors are close in terms of damage, have only slightly less shields, have a lot more travel utility, but are much further behind in maneuverability which can feel bad in many fights, so I would probably say fighters are best, but interceptors do have decent stats for most things outside of pvp

How to get a sentential ship? A online guide says to shoot a space station but I'm sure if that is correct.

That might be one way of doing it, but the easiest would be, when on the galaxy map, to look for a dissonant system. One of the planets in that system will be flagged as having corrupted sentinels, and if you go there, there are large drills, and when destroyed those can drop echo locators which can locate a camp on that planet, which can then point you to a crashed sentential ship. Destroying a sentential freighter at 5 stars of agro can drop an AI fragment which when used points you directly at one, even in other systems, so that is what the guide you saw was suggesting, the other way can take a little longer, but once you do the process once it isn't that bad.

But yeah, once you do it once and get what's going on it isn't that much of an issue, and for the drills if you walk right up to them, they will either say "Echo Locator" or "Inverted Mirror", if they say the mirror you can ignore them, since damaging a drill agros the sentinels onto you.

Ok so hatch the egg in your current system make sure the system you are in is very far away from the ship you want and it's system and hatch the egg once hatched go to the living ships system by using the glyphs in the image in a glyph portal all the ships listed are in Euclid I believe and you need a glyph portal in Euclid once you reach the system that the ship is in there should be a com ball and save becon at the location of the ship make sur you dont have mp on befor going through the portal when you get there turn on online function then go to the location there should be a normal crashed ship get out of your ship then reset the starbirth mission while looking away from the crashed ship then once reset the ship should appear if it doesn't then reset your restore point and reset the starbirth mission again until it works

There's overlap in the ranges for each, but only 1 has the potential to be maximum for the ship type. It gets complicated from that point, so you may just want to take my word for it, lol. XD

@sweet moon For your 1st one, you're much more limited for rerolling/targeting specific models - regardless of how you prefer to play, I suggest you seriously consider duplicating the 1st Void Egg you purchase prior to triggering the quest, especially if you know you wanna be picky about it.

Any given interceptor in any system will always have the same look in that system no matter what but the class of each one you find in that system will be different same with the stats meaning you have to grind for the best version of the interceptor that you want

the graph in pins show the same thing as the wiki page for starships. Its the class multipliers for the stats right?

is there a resource for the base stats that get multiplied. Just the multipliers dont really help when determining the stat ranges the ships i find have?

Guys, i found coordinates for a Frigate i want, but the last time i warped there after the 3 hour 5 warp rule they despawned when i loaded the save i made in the space station. Have they patched that method of Frigate farming?

@kindred kite There's a reason I set up the graphic the way I did - the way that base vs core vs final stats are calculated, every single person who spent time looking over such a chart and tried to understand it would end up coming to me with questions itd take hours to get through - so I'd also have to write a guide, and if I were lucky, that guide might cover the first tier of questions that would need answering..... lol

Starship stats are so convoluted that the only reason I was able to get a handle on them was because I was working with the guy who cracked seedgen, lol. For all the time I spent teaching him the finer points of how various things work as observed ingame, I was learning from him how stats are calculated and getting an overview of how procgen works
