I've landed at a crashed sentinel ship. I took out the bits and placed the Hyaline Brain in it. I claimed the ship and added it to my fleet. However, when I close out the menu I can't interact with the ship. It's there visually but you can walk thru it like it's not there.

keep reloading and check each system around you when doing the warp for the freighter you want

go to a space station with the client
you swap with a NPC while the client is near your ship
the client buy the ship off the NPC
the vendor can reload the save to keep the ship

Theres a code at the bottom those are glyphs you need to collect before you can use them on portals. If you input these glyphs on a portal it will bring you to that specific planet. Then there are coordinates in the cockpit view

Had to play around with this and choose which upgrades to keep and what slots to keep supercharged or not

Getting right under 6k maneuverability is tough when you have top tier upgrades. I settled for over 4 after hours and hours of testing

It’s fun to stop on a dime but after a few minutes, at least for me, I didn’t find it much useful

I, don't know. I know I left a save beacon at a nearby camp since I normally use those to point me to crashed ships, but if the ship isn't in that location I couldn't say, I haven't ever dabbled in 'who sees what' impacts from multiplayer.

There are tons. You just gotta find a huge patch of runaway mould, make a house around em, make a slope, and then farm em quick, teleport away, teleport back, and they will have respawned. Repeat until you have an inventory full, then fill as many refiners as you can, and boom

The interceptor? bk noticed this odd thing where damage output actually drops a little when upgrading from A to S. After he pointed it out, I noticed it, too. Doesn't make any in-game difference. That ship will delete all of your enemies.

Sounds like a lot of work for how large the planets are, but if you wanna explore the entire planet, its a good idea. keeps it organized so you know what you've already explored

@naive token You dont need beacons, you just fly at min speed near but not at N or S Pole, and use the compass to head directly along whatever longitudinal measurement you care to use directly toward the opposite pole.

Better ships are found based on system economy, not the color of the star system, the stars color influences what planets you'll find primarily.

Also, if by better you mean by class, then yes, higher tier economy class systems have better odds of spawning higher class ships, but if you want better as in better base stats or SC slots, anywhere can give you good choices, it just comes down to luck

@winter obsidian Yeah, instead of counting seconds as they tick past for 3hrs, go and have fun, and forget about the encounter.
You're going to work on forming a habit. Before warping away from ANY system, land on Freighter or Space Stn and create a Restore Point - you can ignore the clock entirely, and at sone point, when you warp into an ambush, you just pause and reload Restore immediately, and jump to the target system instead.

@winter obsidian Two other useful tips for controlling Capital spawns - warping using Freighter cannot trigger a Capital rescue, and Uncharted (no space station) systems dont have fleets, so both can be used if the rescue is due but requires some warping to get back to the system whose freighter youre after.
