The autophages often have "junk" clogging them up that you can remove.

Most of the time the junk is just pugneum.

the best way to farm derelict/abandoned freighters is to visit a station and talk to the dodgy looking dude with the tent and buy the item that costs 5 million which will give you an emergency signal scanner, then go out to space and trigger the ESS and pulse until you find a freighter.

be careful tho the price of the ESS starts at 5 million then goes to 10 million then 20 million etc etc., best way to keep the price low is to wait until the next day before buying again as it will reset back to 5 million each day

Located as a wreck underwater, I've placed a landing pad base named "Radiant Pillar" at the nearest island.

I pinched this from Reddit (posted by Otherwise-Ad-7145, thank you) - I can also confirm that a non-bost version turns up at the systems trading posts and space station, allowing you to buy it. Converts back to your original starter ship by renaming to Radiant Pillar BC-1 and then regains the original smell of McVities Digestives after 18 hours of space flight!

You know when you’re flying in your ship and you hit scan, and sometimes, when flying in a planet’s atmosphere, an “unknown building” marker pops up? And that “unknown building” can be anything from a drop pod to a trading station?

Are wrecked ships (the ones you can claim and fix or scrap for money) a part of that list of things you can ping from your starship?

Yeah they can be, but they are harder to get to that way cause they are much more spread out across the planet map compared to buildings/waypoints and also doesn't render as clearly unless you're flying low. You can buy nav chart from the space station that are specifically for distress beacons, those can be either crashed freighter or ships

i dont remember name but u get the item from destroying sentinel capital ship or some missions

There are 3 ways :
1st Dreadnaught AI fragment - which you get primarily by engaging sentinels in space and at maximum alert level a sentinel dreadnaught will spawn - destroying it will get you a guaranteed dreadnaught AI fragment. They are also available rarely as nexus mission reward. Using it will point you directly to a crash site.

2nd is using echo locators, which can be farmed from dissonant planets by destroying the resonators - they will either drop an inverted mirror or an echo locator. You can get close to them before engaging to see which one they are gonna drop. They will point to a harmonic camp and unlocking the camp console will give you the option to locate a ship.

3rd - by engaging corrupted sentinels on dissonant planets on the groundand fighting them to max alert level. When you've fought them all, it'll do an instant scan that'll point to the closest crash site

Beware : lifeless dissonant planets and dissonant planets in uncharted and abandoned systems do not have any sentinel ships to find and claim.

2. check the freighter is a freighter you like the look of, if not then reload and try a different system until you find a freighter you like
3. complete the rescue mission
4. land on the freighter and check the freighter class with scanner
5. if the class is too low reload and warp back to same system repeat until you get a class you want

System freighters are easy; land on them, scan the walls with your visor to see the class. Capital freighters are harder because they only come from freighter fights. You get a freighter fight every 3 hours gameplay and 5 warps minimum. Wait until you have warped 4 times then make a save. Warp into your chosen system (preferably Outlaw since they have the highest chance of S-class). Skip the fight, just dodge the pirates and land on the freighter. If it isn't the right class, reload and do it again. Note that people have spent hours doing this so it can take a while, I think it's something like 5% chance of S-class in Outlaw systems and 2% in T3.

FWIW I have only two saves with S-class freighters; all the others I have settled for A-class and will trade up if I happen to come across one. A-class is plenty.

I've landed on it with no problem before, but if it is locked... kill all the pirates I guess! Maybe I accidentally shot it and ended the rescue? You don't get the reward though if you don't finish the fight (meaning you have to pay for it even if you haven't claimed one yet).

Trade post are normally the best bet, though camping at a station can work, unless its an outlaw system where those see few ships visiting. Once you get there it comes down to time.

buy the ESS coordinates from the dodgy looking guy under the tent at stations, they start at 5,000,000 and increase in price the more you buy so 5 10 20 etc etc and the price resets each day.

if you want to speed things up and not have to spend more than 5,000,000 then you could dupe the module (i do not condone duplication)

Dissonant systems. from there, either fight corrupted sentinels until you get an echo locator, or fight interceptors until you destroy the dradnaught at the end, leaving an AI fragment. activating the dreadnaught AI fragment will lead you directly to the ship, while activating an echo locator will bring you to a harmonic camp

2. check the freighter is a freighter you like the look of, if not then reload and try a different system until you find a freighter you like
3. complete the rescue mission
4. land on the freighter and check the freighter class with scanner
5. if the class is too low reload and warp back to same system repeat until you get a class you want

For the ship location, at first you can use the portal in Euclid Galaxy to insert this portal code to teleport to it's location, and then when u arrived, you can check around buy press F and you will see the base that named S CLASS SENTINEL SHIP +30.22 -90.83

Or the base that named s class orange sentinel tank +30.22 -90.83

If you saw one of those two, you can go ahead to the coordinate that in the bases name, good luck sir

thats easy to find, just go to the glyphs in the image then fly to the dissonant planet and you will find it, also if it's an S class they posted just keep searching and you will find the S it ship you find on that planet will be the same design as sentinel ships are system based
