you can locate them by either finding a harmonic camp, using a Dreadnought AI beacon, or by defeating all 5 waves of a corrupted sentinel swarm while on-planet

in the starmap it'll tell you if a system has a dissonant planet

You need to pass the monolith's test. Then when you interact with it again you'll need to use a vykeen dagger/korvax convergence cube/geknip depending on the faction of the system to get the portal location

Probably a dumb question (from a longtime player): Does game mode affect the occurance of dissonant planets?

I'm trying to clear up the confusion with @strange pivot regarding the location of the small blue interceptor I posted here a couple of days ago. The portal address takes me right back to the planet on which I found the ship in Permadeath mode, but Xeno's experience seems to have been otherwise.

(It's in Euclid galaxy.)

Smallest shuttle* ship I've seen, Euclid galaxy, mainly red and white, went away before I saw the class

Hauler ship, Infinite Voice RQ8 is the name, Euclid, Gray and Light Green colours, class A for me but probably different class for you

I haven't attempted it, but I've noticed that if a frigate is close enough to the freightor, that if you go to initiate the landing sequence with the freightor and manage to get to coms fast enough, when you go to view the frigate it'll appear as a starship with no class. You can see storage and everything ._.

You need to have a Void Egg, either bought from the quicksilver vendor from the anomaly or gifted by players. There is a little song and dance to get the specific living ship you want which you can see through "!faq-livingship" and yes they'll cost nanites

So for regular ships, youll generally head to the correct galaxy, use a Portal with the address posted, then chill at a Trading Post til the ship spawns.

Living Ships are not something to tackle early game - the first is timegated to force it to a week or so to finish, and the egg to start is 3200 quicksilver

I found the monolith but I cant talk to the thing to find the portal

You need to save before you talk to it . If you find a monolith. Always get back and out of your ship. It will have 3 choices of answers to the question it’s asking for. If you click wrong one its over for that monolith. If you click the wrong one just exit game immediately and reload in and click the next one till you choose correctly. If you choose right it will show you location of portal

Also take note each question you are “offering “ something to it . Make sure you have all 3 things it requires . Dont wanna click 2 and then the 3rd time see that you cant cause you’re missing something and then gotta go find it and leave monolith etc

Easy way to find portals go to anomaly teleporter and look through bases that say “ portal hotel “ stuff like that. Never even really need to hunt portals yourself

Make sure in network settings your on multiplayer otherwise you might not show portal bases people’s have built

S class has a little more storage, hyperdrive range and one extra supercharged slot. I would say, if youre willing to give it the time, go for S class but if you find a good A class then take it. Theres not much difference

My A class had 2 less tech slots and i can easily get them filled in from doing quicksilver missions and getting freighter bulkhead upgrades

Interceptors all need repairs, mainly the things you get on dissonant planets. And coordinates can be seen to the side in the visor (See the right side of this screenshot) or in the first person view in your ship, but only when in atmosphere of the planet.

Use the glyphs in the 3rd image at a PORTAL to get to the correct system/planet.
Use the Coordinates in the 5th image or listed in my post to get to the exact location of the Interceptor. Or just look for the Save Beacon and Comm Ball I have placed to Help Guide You.
Yes, you will need to repair crashed Interceptors.

Euclid. I'm playing in permadeath mode. It's an outlaw system.

There's light security in the first sections - a handful of turrets, a handful of drones, all easily dispatched. A few green jellies later on, even more easily dispatched. Lots of crates.

I came away with 2 SFMs and an S-class hyperdrive upgrade on my first visit. I'll be going back later.

I kept the Uptopia speeder as my main until the new Sentinel ships. I like most of those because of how much they move and shift.

I've wanted to find a good solar ship for awhile but they all have something about them that I don't like so I haven't settled on one.

One of the big things I don't like about the solar ships is how long everything takes to launch/land because of the animation of them folding in.

I said I’d show and I did, my Interceptor is not very pretty; this particular shade of orange doesn’t suit it at all, and in some other lighting, it looks yellow-green

This is kinda a dumb question probably but I’m trying to use a save beacon to save my spot incase I don’t like the class of the sentinel ship but when I get out of my ship to check the class it changes the restore point so I’m stuck with whatever it is how do I resolve this

Upload save data before you get the ship. Then download save data if you don’t like the ship. It will restore save point to before you got the ship
