Here's a useful tip. the camps can often be used more than once. Leave a beacon at the camp. If you don't like the class of the ship then scrap it and go back to the camp and see if it can find you a better ship.

Ah too bad. but you know now! I've been finding and scrapping interceptors just for fun and units. Scrapping them is very profitable. I also put bases on a few dissonant planets with easy terrain where I go to hunt for echolocators.

Please keep in mind each corrupt planet has 1 interceptor model and that's it. Other site might have a different class but will be the same model. If you don't like the look of an interceptor you need to travel to a different corrupt planet.

No you need to be in the same galaxy in order for the portal to take you to the right location, this is why galaxy info is important and maybe why the one you want isn’t appearing as i went to the location of the one you originally wanted and there is no dissonant system just takes me to another system

(The last featured base in the anomaly is in eissantam if you don’t have a base there)

Called it the blackbird, 2 supercharged slots on either side means a photon cannon laser beam and high maneuverability setup

I wouldn't worry about it, each system has an exotic so you can just keep an eye out for ships like that while exploring until you find one you like, or any other style of ship for that matter

Yes, for freighters you can buy different colors with nanites to re-color them, with only the bridge, the place you dock your ship, being the place that doesn't change color

I am not sure if this works anymore but if you are in a multiplayer game your partner sells the ship to an npc, you should be able to get it from that npc for free. Then your partner just disconnect without saving and he/she won't lose the ship because the progress didn't save.

and this is IMPORTANT

save at every space station before the attack

so once you trigger the attack

reload your last save

and then youll trigger saving that specific freighter

you can reload the attack as many times as you want to try to get an S class or A or whatever

but keep in mind S classes are expensive and will run a hundred million units +

Just to make it less confusing if someone else wanted to do it, remember a galaxy is built up of star systems for example the starting galaxy is Euclid there is 255 galaxies (if you don’t include 256) so you want to jump to Systems instead.

As a better method then reload a save in another system and having to constantly warp, you can enter a system with the desired freighter with a freighter battle then go into the space station in the system the battle is and make a save and reload that instead, skipping the whole need to warp to the right system, this will also remove the pirates attacking the freighter.

I can tell if a System has a very good chance of producing a great Supercharger layout by upgrading two C Class Starships and two C Class Multi-Tools.
If a System has great System Seeds, I Hunt it.
If not, I move on to the next System.

The address displayed will be based on where you loaded into the system at - first glyph will be sunset loading in anywhere outside planetary atmosphere

itll be 1 of the next 6 depending on which planet you load into save on - for those paying attn thinking "this is suspiciously familiar..", yes, the first Glyph displayed in Portal Address from Photo Mode indicates the currently loaded MT pool when pic was taken 😉

@carmine kayak Unless youre using 2+ SC slots for Shields, I'm not certain thats even possible in Vanilla, and Damage Potential has never been a good measure for combat effectiveness. Contrary to what people assume, the maximum achievable Damage Potential, or anything within 100 of reaching it, is the only certain indication a player is unaware of the PvP meta XD

(And by extension, the absolute most effective weapon setups)

Because above ~3000, those agile-er ships will begin suffering AtmoSeizures

The specific crash site with +- coords will have specific SC slots layout

I use the same images because they are all on the same planet, hence the same Interceptor just different Supercharger Layouts and Coordinates. In each post the only images that change are the Supercharger Layouts and the Coordinates.

You will have to show me which post you are referring to because that model is a S, T, L and Rhombus all on the same planet, all with different coordinates.

Now that you mention it, I believe that I am the very first player in the history of NMS to discover a S with all Superchargers showing, T, L and R all on the same planet!! 🥳

The price of a freighter varies. Each time it loads in the stats are randomized. So to get an S tier you can keep reloading the Dave from before you warped.

No, I posted the location of one you can buy. Freighters can't be traded between players, but the appearance of one you find will remain near constant. If you use the portal code in the pic I shared, you can bet a freighter that looks like that will spawn in for you to be able to buy.

I use it to boost my Maneuverability. I can't kill what I can't catch and Maneuverability helps with that.

Can't. When loading in for a fight, dock with the station immediately. Hop out, save, go back out. The fight should be done and dock and check. If it's not a S just reload that save and check until it is a S. Best to do it in a 3 Star economy system. Higher chance of S

Probably bugged. Do this exactly: When you warp in and a freighter battle is going, immediately go to the space station. Get out of the ship to have it save. When it's done leave and dock on the freighter. Check the ship's class by using the visor. If it's not a S just reload the save. Then leave the station and do it again. It's how I farmed for a S. It'll probably be a lot of loading and reloading. Never had one vanish on me so I'm just assuming that was a bug for you or perhaps an actual on was taken that might have caused it to disappear.

Also make sure you're reloading the save, not the autosave

After that game skips most of the quest and you only need nanites and another egg to get LS

Each system has ONE exotic starship. You can wait around at trade outposts or space stations, or play the reload game. I just play the game and one will show up eventually - maybe every 8 or so hours of gameplay. The odds of an exotic showing up is about 1 in 300. So, you can wait around for 300 starships to arrive, or, like I said, just play the game and when you see one, buy it.

Interceptors are awesome. They can get better hyperdrive range, maneuverability, and they can hover while in atmosphere which other ships don't do, love that feature

@edgy dock I actually dont believe thats possible - the black upraised flap that can be attached where the engine spine begins influences the paint type options that a model has available

I think primary non-orange or purple requires it

I may be recalling incorrectly, havent done many searches with the bot and when I scout myself I look at stats and little else lol
