You have to complete starbirth quest actually and after that if you want living shiphunt you will find specific living ship ones with specific locations using...a method called restart quest using nearby structures

Finish it and start hunt i dont want to teach you cheat but there is actually a way to reduce organ mature in starbirth quest

Also, after you've finished the Starbirth quest, you can reject the ship offered and you'll get the void egg back. After the first egg any new living ships will be 10,000 nanites or you can reject the ship and you'll get the void egg back. But remember that after spending the nanites you still have to interact with the ship a second time to actually claim the ship.

The process of finding an interceptor is very different to finding a normal crashed ship. Run "!faq-interceptor" in #bot-spam

I'm looking for an A-Class fighter all I can seem to find are bees and C's. Anyone have any advice? If I can't find an a class how do I get enough nanites to upgrade the ship class. It seems like I never get enough.

Also how do you even use the coordinates when someone gives them to you?

They're around, just gotta wait. Look in 3 star systems. I think one of the better places to look is at a trade depot. Ships come and go there all the time. Or you can wait at a space station. I've noticed that there seems to be a cycle of the same style of ships that come and go in the same space station but often having differing classes. So you can see a yellow fighter come in as C class and later on see the same fighter come in as an A class.

I am not 100% sure on the coordinates but I think you have to use those glyph portals. I have not gotten to that point myself.

The ranks on them are random, you basically have to look for dissonant system (it shows next to the name of the system where is usually 'water') - you can only find those on planets with corrupt sentinels, you have to kill some of these to get a map for a camp and at the camp you get the location of one of these ships

you can google 'how to get sentinel ships' it might be better than what've said here

Teleport back to target system, land ~300u from the planetary coords for the model you want, and reset the Starbirth quest - if done properly, and so long as the Distress Beacon at the crash site reads as Unknown Building in your Visor, the reset will spawn the closest LS to your position.

Glyphs (or symbols) is a star system address that you can go to using portals (Stargate like thingy), there you can immediately found the Sentinel ship (if the planet name and latitude/longitude was provided by the poster), find a Harmonic camp, or you need to find an item called Echo locator and use it to find the ship.

Regular ships are easier to find

Sentinels doesn't (assuming those are the ones you're aiming for), you'll find them as a broken/stranded ships that needs fixing.

They come and go, and you need to talk to the pilot and buy it if you like the ship. Easier to find one/ vast selection on Trade Posts, 2nd best is space stations

Each system has fixed amount of variations of ship type, so if you wait a bit on ANY trade post on the star system where the glyph address bring you, it'll appear sooner or later

Like watching planes come and go at airport

For example: This ship, is found at those glyph coordinates, as you can see I took a picture of it inside a space station, so if you wait a bit there, this ship will appear, with exact looks and color, and sometimes even two together.

You can just keep using them till you get a rwxue beacon. In fact if you don't go to the building it will stay out of the rotation and increase the chance you get a rescue beacon.

So, I have Hyaline Brains, not the Harmonic Brains. If I click Probe Subconcience on the Hyaline Brain, nothing happens.

When you find a sentinel ship you need 3 radiant shard and then prode the brain to go to another location to fix the brain.

Then come back to ship

You need an inverted mirror and 3 radiant shards before the brain will search for a site to tame the brain.

When you find a camp, place a save beacon at the camp. Then you can use the camp to claim multiple ships. They'll all look the same, but you might get a higher class. Though I would advise claiming them all so you don't get repeats. Plus any C class sentinel ships will scrap for a minimum of 35 or so million. So a simple-ish way to farm some money quick.

My policy is usually trying 3-4 ships per camp. You can try for S-class, but in all the hours I've hunted for intercepters, I haven't found and S Classes. S Class interceptors are out there. I just haven't found any personally. I've found plenty of A classes though.

Finding and scraping crashed ships for a chance at storage augmentation pieces. A and S classes garuntee 1 at minimum. S Classes have a chance for more. C abd B classes have chances at 1.
