well, you can either finish the mission (will only take 13 jumps), or follow a guide to get all other glyphs, but it will cost nanites and more time
once you have all the glyph, you're free to go anywhere, so it's really worth to unlock them

I'm at work for another 5 hrs so can't look through my catalogue, but depending what parts you want and colour, there should be examples posted in this channel

earlier i was on this glitch planet, pretty big one, but after maybe 7 distress beacons, it sent me to another planet, but that glitch planet was very good for the ship i wanted to get spaceship autments
i was getting S and A shuttles all the time, then it sent me to another planet.
i did get 6 spaceship augments out of that glitch planet but was hoping for more

T1 Explorers are more plentiful than Fighters, so sitting on a Korvax SS, buying all A and S Class ships that land to scrap, youll spend less units over time because youll hit t1 ships most often among the 3 races

today on 2 diff planets i collected a full ship inventory twice, got 5 augments out of the first batch and 6 out of 2nd batch, all shuttles and few explorers
A's and S's shuttles seem to almost always give me an augment
A's and S's explorer, kinda half and half so far

Scrapping a ship has a chance to drop 0-3 storage augmentation module items.
In any inhabited system:
All C-class ships have 20% chance to drop 1 Storage Augmentation.
B-Class shuttles have 20% chance to drop 1 Storage Augmentation.
All other B-Class ships have 35% chance to drop 1 Storage Augmentation.
A-Class shuttles have 50% chance to drop 1-2 Storage Augmentation(s).
All other A-Class ships have 65% chance to drop 1-2 Storage Augmentation(s).
All S-Class ships have 100% chance to drop **1-3 **Storage Augmentation(s).
The amount of storage aug modules that drops is fixed to ship class and seed (the looks and name of the ship are also fixed to a ship's seed). It is not affected by how many (usable) slots the ship has before getting scrapped.
So, if buying ships to scrap, it's recommended to buy low inventory A- and S-class fighters, explorers, and solars, as they're cheaper.
What does this mean?
For example, any A-class fighter in any specific system has a 65% chance to drop 1-2 storage augs when scrapped.
Additionally, if Y-class fighter named Z is found to drop X storage aug modules when scrapped, obtaining and scrapping more copies of the same ship in that class will also drop the same number of augmentation modules.
Recording which ships and which class drop augmentations when scrapped can give you a nice map of which ships are worth buying. Here's an [example](#nmscord-hub message).

ship trading is not player to player. You trade/buy ships from AI you find on space stations and trading posts. abandoned ships can also be found on certain planets like desolate planets. There is no real etiquette :)

Here is a step-by-step guide:
2. Go to the system you want, like Gek or Corvex, etc.
3. Go to a space station and land your ship.
4.**TRADE/EXCHANGE** your ship to an npc pilot who lands.
5. Once you exchange ships, go to where you landed your ship in the space station, the new npc pilot who you sold it to will be there.

If you like the design, I don't see why not. A-class is good enough. Are you getting it for free or buying it? It depends how picky and patient you are about farming an S-class for ultimate "best" stats which aren't a huge difference, and getting a starting inventory size that will cost a little extra to expand

I personally waited for S. But like I said, it's not a huge difference to get A-class. Main thing is, with freighters, you don't get the option to upgrade to S-class. So you'd have to farm another freighter and do an "exchange" with whatever units difference to pay up, move whatever base you built on it to the new one which the game does offer the option to do

Hey guys. I have a question about ships - I guess this would classify as hunting, so I'll ask here.
I did some reading and I saw that S class ships in pirate systems specifically do not spawn with their maximum slot count. However, my question was this.
I am looking for a solar ship because I like their design, as well as their pricing (I'm early game). I'm aware they are most common in pirate systems. However, if I find an S class solar ship in a non pirate system, will it be max cargo/tech as well?
I've seen some, even A class. Just not lucky enough to run into an S class one yet.

On average, 1 Solar model per regulated system, every now and then you may come across 2. Ive found 3 once, but beyond that you hit 1 in 10,000 odds, and 7 Solars in a regulated system would be 1 in 10,000,000 - simplistic probability, not fully accurate

But there's only one exotic per system

I'll try to remember to load in when I get back from errands and check it again. If you use a freighter with one one ship in your fleet to pulse and scan the spawns, you increase the odds of finding the exotics faster.

Did you give the photomode menu a little bit of time to disappear on its own? Sometimes if you explicitly select the option to hide it, it also hides the glyphs. It's hard to explain
