okay. whats the method for finding them once youre on planet?

To find a crashed sentinel ship from scratch (a new ship, not someone else's post):

1. Open the galaxy map and look for a star that days "Dissonant" on the same line where it would say "Water" or a stellar class (IE; O2b), below the name of the star system. Make sure it's not an empty system, as those don't seem to work.
2. Warp there, and either engage the sentinel freighter and ships in space until you destroy the freighter, or survive through 5 waves on the ground at a sentinel pillar (you'll need a Sentinel Boundary Map to find one). Once you've done either of these things, you'll be rewarded with a Dreadnaught AI Fragment.
3. Use the Dreadnaught AI Fragment, it'll generate a destination on the galaxy map
4. Warp to the destination, it should be a close star.
5. Find the icon on one of the planets in the system, and pulse towards it.
6. Land, and use the visor to search for the ship (if you can't see it, which I usually can)

If you're following coordinates for someone else's ship however, ignore the above, and simply find the coordinates in your own game on the planet specified (usually the gate planet).
