It was a frigate reward from the Beachhead expedition which ran May 2021 (and re-ran a second time Dec 2021). If you're on PC you can ask in #nms-modding about how to unlock expedition rewards via a save editor (or a game mod like Consumerism).

You're in creative, so find a portal. The process is buy a bunch of Alien Cartographic Data (Planetary chart) from a cartographer (space stations) and fly to a planet. Use them over and over 'til you find a monolith. Go there, solve the riddle (guess if you don't understand the question) and if you get it right you can interact a second time with the monolith after it kicks you out, and that'll lead you to a portal.

Best to drop a base there at the portal if you want to be able to portal again easy.

Yes, wait for it at the space station or trade post. You can wait for the first 4 or 5 ships to land and then reload your autosave if you don't want to wait as much for a new set. Might take a while, as the spawn percent is low, but at least you'll get the ship you want.

when you summon the freighter, they spawn in about 3 or 4 seconds, unless it is T1 economy, then they spawn in like 2 at a time maybe 4 or 5 seconds apart, or longer.... it is a lot slower

It all up to you, unlike most other games, stats don't matter as much, when upgraded. More important is the skin and design. Best advice, look at ships here, or even spend some time at stations and trade centres, and see what you like n dont like

No Man's Sky Coordinate Exchange has some, but keep in mind class roll is random, so you'll get the looks with coordinates, but not necessarily a high class unless you save scum/reroll/retry over and over.

@cold sky Any ship technically, but only useful on ones locked to S Class. The key is 1 player leaving and rejoining after each reroll, you cant simply toss the ship back and forth in 1 session

So you start by meeting up and handing over the exotic to helper. Then you quit and rejoin, they exchange with npc, you grab, and if it doesnt have better stats, you exchange back to NPC, helper grabs it, then you quit and rejoin

I had chased exotics after battle before, but I haven't heard of anyone else restoring saves and doing new warps to grab them as fast as you do

@fleet pewtera method I have been using for a couple of years is having a save with only one ship and using the freighter. I summon the freighter then target and scan all the ships that spawn. If no exotic, then I pulse for 6 to 8 seconds, then summon freighter again. Just keep repeating. Having only one ship, then 6 NPCs can land.

Like a new wave? Every few minutes. They don't reroll though and get new ships, every system has 21 ships that spawn IIRC, and those never change unless a major update rerolls them.

Yeah I stumbled upon a few, but not so many. They did seem to be more plentiful, but the reset definitely hurt them in general. I bet you I looked at 80 ships with at least 10 rolls each.

find a corrupted sentinel planet and kill 5/5 corrupted sentinel youll get a dissonant spike detected thats the ship
