Not really. All ships in the game are made based on the same collection of parts and the same 64 color palette

There are no changes to ship generation stuff in other galaxies

Well, aside from Exotics and Solars, the colours, model parts, and decals make for trillions of potential variations, in the case of Shuttles it's quadrillions, so technically there are variants unobtainable within any single galaxy. @winter obsidian

Let's say you find this ship in Euclid.
Then you go to the second galaxy, you can find the exact same ship with different colors potentially.
Or the same ship with same colors + some type of wings.

Each system has different ships, and each galaxy has different systems so if you don't find the one you want in the first galaxy you can go to the second and have a chance to find the combination of parts and colors you want.

So I mean the way in which ships are generated doesn't change. But because of the way they generate there aren't a ton of repeat ships across the galaxies.
Thus going to another galaxy will basically give you different ships kinda.

Well. The first freighter you get is free guaranteed.
Freighters class cannot be upgraded so maybe find an S class one that you like and get it free.
But you can have up to 9 ships and they just exist somewhere. No need to store them on freighter

Freighters are a portable base pretty much. But they allow you to have a SQUADRON (ships that will follow you into combat)

Yes. Also if you get the trans mat beam you can put things onto your freighter from anywhere thus vastly increasing your Max storage potential. As well as being able to summon exocrafts you have built

Here is an example of how to post crashed ships too. Include the ship picture, the glyphs, and the planetary coordinates as well as galaxy. Planetary coordinates are like the coordinates in Minecraft. They tell you where on the planet you are. You can see them in rhe scanner (analysis visor)

I use mine as a farm. I am going to move some of the items( nip nip bud for now) to one of my farms. I don't farm it as often as I used to. I would rather it take up space off my freighter. This will reduce the amount of processing power needed to load the freighter

that’s pretty smart, i sadly don’t usually do farming because i don’t need the money (creative world ofc) but i mostly do quests looking for more places to explore. Meaning that i almost never go to my base and i don’t usually do quests around my base because that vy’keen at my base is really annoying with those weapons.

The funny thing is the amount of effort some people will put into trying to do it the hard way, when even the first example has high enough maneuberability to cause problems flying in atmosphere - 3000 is where I'd draw the line for any ship I wanted to fly regularly.

What economy tier does is determines the % chance of given starship spawning in one of the classes: C, B, A or S

The thing with exotics is: they have only one class to choose from - S class

So when game rolls the dice to determine the type of ship it will spawn, and the dice lands on exotic, there's only 1 option for the class - S class

With regular starships, game rolls the dice on the class and depending on the economy level, the chances for each class are different

There are systems that spawn exotics as part of first wave of ships landing on a space station

However, an update half a year ago changed the spawning mechanics

All posts older than that, that show location of a system with first wave exotics will no longer work

So you will need to find posts that are more up-to-date

Other than that, just camping at a trading outpost and reloading your save every wave (5 ships)

@candid geyser Drop a Save Beacon at a Trading Post, then you can pulse jump for 1-2s towards space and back, closely circle the TP while 1st wave spawns in, and use targeting in 1st person to cycle through them, often before you can see them due to terrain.

@hollow snow That's an Alpha Vector model, with a fin and Box Thruster. The Alpha Vector actually has Horizon wings with boosters, not Vector, and a Triple Thruster. This close lookalike can be found in Euclid.

Yes, when you put modules relating to the same tech next to each other, they get an adjacency bonus, which is displayed by a colored outline

With box configuration you get more adjacent sides compared to line condiguration

Just by shuffling modules around you can get some nice bonuses

You need to do starbirth to begin the hunt for your first LS, after your first LS you can find eggs and hatch them in space via space anomaly comms in space, then u will be able to buy any living ship after for 10K nanites
