For the freighter battle ship hunting, will the capital ships spawn in systems if keep reloading that save and warping to wealthy systems or will I only get system freighters?

Some have said people need to decline the first time, play three hours and warp five times to trigger the second interaction of a freighter battle, and only then will capital ships begin to spawn

Anyone certain on this issue?

The only way to get the gigantic freighters is from the space battle. Your first battle is for a system freighter, but after that all the battles will be for the massive ones. The reason to decline the first is so that you can get one of those for your first freighter, which is free.

To trigger the freighter battle, it is 3 hours gametime since your last battle, and 5 warps

Just save in a station and reset until it’s the class you want and check it after each time but I heard that’s not working as of recently so idk if they’ve changed it. I never reset for freighters myself

Also if the freighter you’re looking for is triggered by the rescue mission you need to trigger that rescue mission for it to show up

If you use a portal to get to another system and check the address in photo mode, the 1st glyph can be different. you will still be in the same system

The 1st glyph is the planet number and you can find the same ship everywhere in that system - on all the planets and space station. So the 1st glyph can be different. The rest must be the same

ohhh okay, may just be that then. Post didn't say if it was outlaw or not, but I figured that might also be an indicator since almost every solar post I see is generally outlaw and this was regular. I do know that solar can also be found in regular, but a lot more rare so figured that was another indication it may be no longer valid

Yes and there is an npc on the anomaly that you can give food to, the higher quality the more nanites he give you. The amount will go down after giving too much of the same food though. The more complicated the food is to make, the more nanites you'll get.

It's not really critical to find a ship that spawned in S Class, just fyi. As long as the ship spawns in the system, it can spawn in any class, and you can just buy whatever and upgrade it with nanites, too.

If you have units but not nanites, it can be worthwhile to buy any cheap-ish S-class ships you find while ship hunting (especially solars and fighters) because each one you scrap is like 1200+ nanites.

Just sell off the upgrade modules that you get from them.

You'll also end up with tons of Storage Augmentations for when you do find the ship you want.

if you want to find a specific type of ship that is fixed in class it would be a crashed ship but if you want the design you're looking for it would be better for you to buy one

the downsides of having a crashed is is fixing all of the damaged parts

One of the nicest looking ball exotics in my opinion(love the colors)

Biggest freighter would either be a resurgent class Venator, or a Dreadnought class Sentinel. It’s down to preference after that, but I think the resurgent is technically a little bigger (and significantly more defensively capable, even tho both suck at it cause freighter guns suck for some reason).

The way you get those types of freighters, “Capital Freighters” is by warping into a space battle. This has a cooldown of 3 hours and will happen once you wrap to any system in your starship (via black hole, anomaly, or warp drive of course).

And the best way to quickly find the one you want is to save your game right before you get into a space battle so that you can retry with different systems to get the one you want

Living Ship Information

Always S class;
Base stats: high damage and hyperdrive range, but low shields and maneveurability.
Living Ships always start with 22 general slots and 21 technology slots.
Repair kits can be used to fix damaged technologies and upgrade mods.
Cannot install non Living Ship tech, except figurines and starship trails.
Can warp to any star system without any hyperdrive upgrades.

Ship systems can be recharged with materials:
Singularity Core (Hyperdrive): Chromatic Metal
Pulsing Heart (Pulse engine): Silver, Gold
Neural Assembly (Launch thrusters): Oxygen, Mordite
Scream Suppressor (Shield): Pugneum

Upgrade mods are looted from the melody egg space encounter, available in some systems' space encounter drop table, while flying a Living Ship. It's suggested to focus searching in uncharted systems, the systems that no race (korvax, vykeen or gek) controls, i.e. don't have a space station.

Installed [C,B,A] class upgrade mods can be evolved with nanites.

snowspeeders and vipers have the same canopy, so the same view inside, other than a peek at the nose in front, and the snowspeeder's seat sits a few inches further back, so it's a "wider" view ever so slightly

it's all RNG. upgrading guarantees the average stat roll, a natural roll can fall +/- 5% over multiple categories, with an upgrade you always hit a minimum that the rng could roll 5% under

I noticed that in the anomaly every other solar sail ship has its wings open still when landed. Mine always have the wings closed, is this a setting or do we all see other ships like that but not our own?
