Not a good idea. companion eggs can corrupt if you dupe them.

I keep 1 egg to hand out. Make a manual save, then hand it off. Revert back to the hard save and you get it back that way.

If you're trading, though, you have to make 2 trips.

To be honest, though. The command is quite hidden. First someone would want to type "!help" for some reason. Then they'd have to look at the wall of text under other commands. Then they'd have to spot discordlinks in that wall of text and be curious enough about what it does to run the command. Then finally they'd have to type "!creativehublink". So it's quite hidden. imho it would be nice if there was a channel with the invite links for those servers. Would be a lot more visible compared to how buried that command is lol.

Once the pet (in this case the Dino) is ready to have its egg usually after 24 hours (if I’m right) and you’re on the planet with the right climate that matches (you can find this info on the companion) then they’ll be able to hatch the egg. After that, it’s a simple process of a quick transfer. In short, yes they can give you its egg.

What determines the speed of a ride-able creature? My butterfly is very slow, but I like being able to glide around a bit and get a good look around when I'm scouting for resources or a good spot to build a base... but are all the butterfly-type creatures the same speed?

It's a seed that somehow interacts with both the creature seed and scale, and it determines the relative size of a fauna's head, body, and limbs. When you resequence a pet's size, the game auto-adjusts the bonescale accordingly, however I've yet to hear of any claim to understanding how it works, let alone the ability to manipulate it for a desired effect.
