you go and buy an alien structure chart from the cartographer, or use your exocraft scanner,
you get one artifact of the dominant race, so statue for gek, casing for corvax, dagger for vykeen,
you got to the location, save then try all the dialogue options till you find the one that gives you the location of the portal, it will demand the artifact.
and done

They patched it so you can only have one of each type open at a time. Use them until you get a monolith and then go to that. Save before using the monolith in case you get the question wrong. Once you get the question right, use the monolith again and it should show you where the portal is

i think it's the closest I've seen to a tiger in this game so far and on an earth planet too

I tried one and it did nothing.

You want it to say 100% dosage basically. However many that will take. Life support gel can take a while as i think one accounts for like 4% dosage.

Hey, had a few questions on mutating eggs if someone knows how it works

• You can mutate the egg more then once, does it override the first change if you do it twice or does it stack?

If it stacks, is there a limit per egg or per creature?
Or can we just keep stacking mutations every new egg we get from every new generation?

• Is there a limit to mutations overall? like you cant go above a certain height

• Do pets grow while not active?

It stacks on previous mutations, so you could get, say, personality types up to 100%.

There's probably a limit, but the one pet I saw that was humongous (like dwarfed everything else on the planet) was from a player's modded save so I don't know if that was modded or not.

I think pets only mature while summoned.

Hope you saved first. I always save then play around with the egg and if what hatches sucks I reload and try different stuff. Also I don't think modifying the egg multiple times before hatching stacks

I reloaded to before hatching but i had mutated it the day before so it just kept giving the same result, guess i gotta wait on timer, save then reload if needed i assume

But the stacking i tested and ye it works, on the growth and traits at least, dunno about the other 2
