Freighter fights spawn after 3 hours and 5 warps in a session i believe
and the class has a better chance to be higher in better economy systems
so before youre 5th warp, make a save

To swap ships you need to be in a space station or trade port
The person who’s selling the ship exchanges it with an NPC
Then the buyer buys / exchanges the ship off the NPC
The stats and class will be rerolled unless it’s an exotic
