Black isn't a 'real' color in this game (as far as a number of randomly generated things go), but there's the exclusive Golden Vector fighter that matches the bill. Stats and ship parts are fixed and cannot be changed to the best of my knowledge. You can get it these days with mods or save editing.

just add each other and one of you start a multiplayer and he should be able to join on and you should both be in the same system

But it resets whoever character joins the other, we tried to add nms friend code, then join through the menu, but it's starts you off fresh. Trying to help his current playthrough with my current playthrough 🙂
