Well also there's different game modes that are not compatible. Each plays with their own. The game is cross platform though so that's nice same game mode can play together regardless of device

Well, I can understand if Perma death mode has glitchy problems, but if Normal, Creative and Expedition modes have MP incompatibility issues... well then that is practically a MP death sentence for most games.

Go to the anomaly. Someone will usually have a base there.

Use the teleporter there. Browse bases.

Your home system teleporter might let you see more bases if you summon the anomaly, visit it, then go home. I find more bases that way

It's how I get rides to other galaxies. Just snatched a ride to Hilbert by doing that.

Go to the Anomaly and check the teleporter list, odds are there will be at least one base in Eissentam. If not, disable multiplayer, and then turn it back on and look again. Won't take long at all

Heh, very convoluted way to have to trade anything between players. Why doesn't Hello games just program in an actually official Player to Player Trade system that allows you to trade Money, resources, items, ships, weapons, freights? Having an actual system for direct trades in multiplayer is a pretty common and stander practice built into most games that support any multiplayer functionality at all. So why is Hello Games defying common sense?

only way is for your buddy to scrap it while you're in the space station with them. you then go grab it for free from an NPC for free. keeping in mind that if it's not an exotic ship, its class doesn't carry over. so if it's S-class, you may get it from the NPC as a C-class (that's random from what i've been old).

there is no 'official' way but there is a glitch you can do, say if you have a nice ship your friend wants then you and your friend go on the space station, and you exchange YOUR ship for a random ship, now your ship will be abandoned and an NPC will apear for your friend at your ship, might show up for you too idk. Essentially your friend can just buy your ship from the npc for free

if u want your ship back then just leave the gruop and reload a manual save that u do BEFORE doing all the stuff I described

Not if you use the anamoly. Whoever you connect to in there, when you go to a portal after you leave, ALL of their bases are listed on the 'other bases' tab. Just pick one that says another galaxy name

You'll only see a few from the portal inside the anamoly. You'll need to leave to see ALL of them

It can be a great way to shortcut certain things. As long as folks label their bases in a way that makes sense or is in your language. Portals, void eggs, resource farms all easily found by just popping in and out of the anamoly and then checking your portal for anyone's good base

But be ready for that one guy who speaks French and you don't, to have 30 random bases named in French for you to sort through first

While some story quests reward small amounts of QuickSilver, the best way to get it is to farm Nexus missions in the Space Anomaly. It will be clear which missions reward QS. Also, the once-per-weekend mission rewards 1,200 QS instead of the usual 250, so that's nice. Currently, there's not a way for players to donate QS to each other.

And while there's also not a direct way to trade a ship to another player, you can meet on a station or trade outpost and use a NPC as sort of a third-party to trade your ship to another player. Best to check a guide for that or watch a video to make sure you understand the process first.

Yeah, you can trade directly with an NPC, but currently there is no way to trade ships directly with another player. You have to first trade the ship to an NPC, and then the other player quickly trades with the NPC to get your ship. I wish there was a way to do it directly. 😦

I've sat at 3 star economy stations for hours

Not one

That's your problem. Every station has a specific set of waves, sit through like 3-4 and if an exotic isn't there, just move to a different 3 Star System. Instead of wasting 3 hours at one station, spend like 10 tops and move to the next. Guaranteed you'll have better luck. Doing this got me one in like 2 hours.

It's not that bad. Find a known spawn from the coordinate exchange. Portal there. Fly to the station, get outta your ship. That makes an autosave. Reload the save.

Then wait a few minutes. If nothing happens reload again.
