You can actually skip through the waiting bit inbetween the Parts of that quest. I got my living ship in a day

@shy shard if you want the tainted metal for nanites maybe you could find a curious deposit while you're waiting. I get over 1400 nanites at my curious deposit on my permadeath save. I use 5 refiners to refine it. I grinded enough to upgrade my A class Experimental to S class and buy a few upgrades for various things. I have a transporter at the base that I use to transport back to the base and keep farming them over and over.

I duplicated some items for another player, but they weren't able to review all of it and I still have a decent ount of extra condensed carbon, multi tool expansion slots, cargo bulkheads, Emeril, cadmium, ferrite dust and salvaged data modules.

I don't dupe items for myself, only for others players of they need items. So these items are getting tossed out in about 10 minutes unless someone claims them.
